You’ll find Emma’s tucked alongside three other restaurants. Just ring the bell if no one is in front. The kare-kare is a bit bland but otherwise decent. The Balabok has unique flavor but nothing to write home about. The pork & peas my daughter loved. Thr meat is melt in your mouth. But comes with potato salad and not lettuce salad. The Hawaiian plate also had potato salad. My son liked it but I think the pork needs a bit more smoke flavor. The calamansi is unique but too sugary.

The food is good. Got the pork adobo plate. One scoop of rice and a scoop of Mac salad comes with it. Would eat this again. My one and only complaint is that it’s a little greasy. Other than that, the flavors are amazing. I recommend this place to anyone who’s looking for a good “Filipino” bite to eat My mom got the crispy pork belly. She loved that as well.

Here’s what you need to know: this is what small family business is all about. Wow! Amazing Filipino flavors out of a small stall in a humble food court in Kona, BIG Island, HI. This is a true hole-in-the wall great find. So fresh and perfectly seasoned and cooked. And great customer service to top it all. Very Reasonable pricing for HI. This is a family business that makes food as a passion. #supportlocal #smallbiz

We tried 3 things and a drink. The Hawaiian Portuguese sausage with eggs over easy were simply amazing (off menu Hawaiian breakfast special) – as tasty as you’ll find anywhere on the island with amazing garlic rice and perfectly cooked eggs

the crispy pork belly was the best we’ve had with an incredible lechon sauce,

and pork lumpia (Filipino thin egg rolls) was the best version I’ve had too – perfectly crispy and an unbelievably well seasoned pork stuffing.

I would not recommend the boba tea – overly sweet and just not good but it’s an afterthought.

Our goal Meal was $65 for 3 persons. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND this place.

PS: excellent customer service by Tom

It’s overrated. It’s just okay. The restaurant was not super easy to find, on the logo you can only see kitchen. The Indian restaurant next to it is more visible. The salmon was well cooked, and there was a surprisingly good amount of green. The grilled pork belly on the other hand was very underwhelming. I could not taste the marinade and was disappointed. I wished I had a green salad as well instead of the tough cabbage underneath the meat. I would not advice you to eat over there. Do take out. I do not know from which restaurant it came (maybe all of them) but it smelled like burnt plastic and oil. Very nasty. To summarize it was open on Monday night and the area does not have a lot of options, so it was ok. Barely.

Good lunch and friendly staff. We ordered Adobo fries, fried pork belly plate and macaroni salad. Will eat here again if I make it back to that side of the island again.

New Filipino food place. Service is great. They will cook your food after you ordered. We ordered ‘sinigang beef’ and ‘crispy pork belly’. Both well prep and cooked. Highly recommended.

This Mac salad and adobo chicken was so good that I forgot to take a picture of it before I ate it! Also, best boba on island too.
