This was my first time visiting Emi’s. The set up at a bit strange with drive through windows in both sides of the building. Also the speaker on the side I visited was broken so you have to pull forward to order. There is a sign saying that but it is quite difficult to see at nighttime. I ordered the street taco combo with the chips w/guacamole & queso and a small horchata. I had the one each of the Al Pastor and the Carne Asada taco meat. The Carne Asada was my favorite of the 2. The corn tortillas were kind of dry and doubled up which detracted from the flavor of the meat inside. The meal comes with beans and rice. The beans were pretty standard served with some cheese on top, the rice was okay, it would be better if it was served with cheese on it like the beans. I enjoyed the guacamole and the queso was pretty good but kinda cold. The horchata was very good. A bit expensive for the size you get but good enough to treat yourself. The service was fine and the speed of order completion was pretty good. I would probably return to this restaurant when I’m in the area again.

This Taqueria is a great place that deserves more business for sure. All the food is pretty cheap, you get a ton of food for what you pay for, the staff is incredibly kind, and the food gets out really quickly. I recommend getting the taquitos because they are perfectly fried, covered in guac and cheese, and have the soul that other restaurants don’t. Just be prepared to eat outside, as there is no in-store dining

Best authentic street tacos in medina county!! We love La Plaza but it’s so far. I discovered Emis a while ago and it’s so good everytime! It doesn’t miss. Highly recommend!

I hate giving bad reviews and rarely give them. I got street tacos, so I might have chosen wrong, but they were very disappointing and I probably wouldn’t get them again. The Al pastor had a heavy soy sauce flavor and the carne asada was dried out. I also got an order of the carne asada fries and the fries were limp and soggy.

Wow, this is the best mexican food ive ever had. It tastes fresh and real. The staff is very friendly as well. Im from mansfield and this beats every resturant we have 100%. Will be back soon 🙂

Tried this for the first time due to all the great reviews they had received. I would say it was good but not exceptional. The food was tasty, but no sauce was served with my tacos, so they were a little dry. I ordered chips and salsa, the chips were served hot and fresh, and the salsa was flavorful. They weren’t busy when I was there, and the service was definitely slow. Overall, it was good but could have been better, I will try them again to see if I have a better experience.

Don’t blink or you’ll miss some seriously good Mexican in Medina south of the square. Drive thru or walk up ordering. Street tacos were good, all pastor taco was excellent. Taquitos were crispy and clearly hand rolled and lightly fried. Get it to go or eat at the two picnic tables outside.

UPDATE: Still the best Burrito sauce ever! Also had the 3 milk cake today. It was delicious.
I have eaten at a LOT of Mexican restaurants in a lot of different states. Emi’s by far has the best bean burrito I’ve ever had! Their sauce and cheese is amazing. The burrito is huge. The price is good. You can’t eat inside, but they have a double drive-thru and some picnic tables. Plus, you can park in the Habitat parking lot right next door. You can also walk in and place your order.

What a great taco spot, made fresh and with great flavors. It reminds me of a street taco vendor. They only offer drive through so dont expect to sit down inside. There is outside se!ting available but its definitely a grab and go spot.
