Tried this for the first time due to all the great reviews they had received. I would say it was good but not exceptional. The food was tasty, but no sauce was served with my tacos, so they were a little dry. I ordered chips and salsa, the chips were served hot and fresh, and the salsa was flavorful. They weren’t busy when I was there, and the service was definitely slow. Overall, it was good but could have been better, I will try them again to see if I have a better experience.

I hate giving bad reviews and rarely give them. I got street tacos, so I might have chosen wrong, but they were very disappointing and I probably wouldn’t get them again. The Al pastor had a heavy soy sauce flavor and the carne asada was dried out. I also got an order of the carne asada fries and the fries were limp and soggy.

Don’t blink or you’ll miss some seriously good Mexican in Medina south of the square. Drive thru or walk up ordering. Street tacos were good, all pastor taco was excellent. Taquitos were crispy and clearly hand rolled and lightly fried. Get it to go or eat at the two picnic tables outside.

I pick up lunch from Emi’s about once a week or once every other week. Some things are better than others. I really like their chicken, but I’m not a fan of their steak. So, you can imagine my disappointment when, today, for the third time in the past 6 months or so, I ordered a chicken burrito and was given a steak burrito. Unfortunately, I was unable to go back, so the burrito went straight to the trash. The first time it happened, I thought maybe I had said the wrong thing, the second time, I thought it wasn’t a huge deal and was just a simple error. But now, having spent $12 on a burrito that I didn’t eat for the third time, I think I’m going to have to give up on Emi’s for a while. The service is fairly friendly, but I wish they would repeat your order to make sure they have it correct, as it’s clearly an issue. The receipts aren’t itemized, so I don’t know if they aren’t hearing me correctly or if they’re simply making the food incorrectly, but, either way, I’m out $12 and still hungry.

We love the carne asada nachos and salad. And my kids love the beans, rice and taquitos. The street tacos weren’t my favorite. But don’t miss out on the creamy crispy churros! They are to die for!

We usually have a great experience every time we go here. Emi is great. She makes amazing food. Tonight though, I ordered a large Horchata, which is pretty pricey for a drink, and I got a cup filled almost to the top with ice.

Me & a friend went to order & she new we were separate, it was the young short girl with glasses. She took his order & then left me waiting, after 20 mins she gave him his food & then asked me oh your ordering to after I made a comment. She thought it was funny that I had to wait that long. So I told her I was gonna stop coming in & I was gonna write a bad review & she laughed & said OK. So I will continue to write bad reviews on u guys until she is fired cause that was very disrespectful. Once she is gone I will come back to get food.
