Lively place with plenty of large screen TVs yet you could have a conversation. Waitress was great, servers brought out food quickly and with a smile.
They have a standard and high seats, bar seats, and several booths.
Broasted chicken was fantastic and tge wrap was excellent too.
Will be back again.

Emil’s is amazing. I appreciate the staffs and managers kindness to me even though I have autism and their food is amazing and really good. Owner Bob and server Olivia are very nice. Not a long wait. The restaurant is in good condition. Amazing bar food. I love the beer nuggets and broasted chicken. Must come back. 10/10.

First time here. The food was really good! Their inhouse made ranch was amazing. The pretzel bites were delicious. Nice steak fries, etc. etc. Friendly, attentive staff and great atmosphere. We’ll be back!

The bartender Marisa ( Marisol) was extremely impersonal. Most bartenders would suggest another drink when’s a drink is unavailable. Requested two drinks that that were out of stock and each time she seemed bothered and rolled her eyes. Finally selected a beer in stock. Again her persona was rude! We were a party of five with 1 person was 18 that was with us was 18. The 18yr old sat down at the bar while one of us stood. Immediately the bartender asked her for her age and said she could not sit. Understood m, but she was completely rude in the way she approached it. Looking across the bar sat a looked to be 13 yr old boy and a 18yr old girl, with 3 bar backs and nothing said for what seemed to be 40 minutes ( yes I took note) when they finally said something about the boy. I worked at a bar and I am big on tipping, always leave a tip but today I just couldn’t. She was just completely rude. I don’t plan on going back as the bartenders were not welcoming at all!

Typical sports bar menu of pizza, burgers, wings etc. Anything we’ve ever had here has always been good. We especially like their broasted chicken. You get 4 pcs., broasted potatoes and coleslaw for $14.99.Everyone from the hostesses, waitstaff and busboys, make you feel welcome, even on game days when it can get a little crazy. Unlike a sports bar in Libertyville, that acts like they’re doing you a favor by letting you eat there. There are lots of tv’s plus one large projection tv in the dining area.

My wife and I have been eating at or carrying out food from Emils for years. Sadly we went from every Friday night to once or twice a month due to the quality of the food. We had not been in there for a month or two and thought we would take mom out for dinner. It is super bowl Sunday and the place is half empty. One of the two appetizers we ordered was under cooked. One of the sides mom ordered was also under cooked. The first time we told the waitress she said she would let the manager know. The second time we told the waitress she said that she could not do anything but would send the manager over. We told her we didn’t need any credits for the bad food, it was not that big of a deal. She came back with the bill telling us the manager removed the two items from the bill. We appreciated that but we’re not looking for that. Obviously there was a problem in the kitchen. With a restaurant half empty the manager still left the waitress hanging out to dry.

Great place. Village mainstay. Neighborhood meet up. Wonderful comfort food served with mostly generous portions. Summertime?! PATIO. Outdoor bar with firepit, tvs, games, and music! Oftentimes quite crowded – I wonder why?! Settle in at the bar and watch the vibes lift

Regular patrons for lunch and dinner. Excellent food – particularly enjoy the broasted chicken and burgers. Soups and chili are also good. Lots of screens makes sports part of your meal if desired. Excellent service – our server most recently was Yazzy who clearly loves her job. Just the right amount of attention without hovering. She provided perfect service for an excellent and fairly priced meal. We’ll be back.

Extremely disappointed with our first visit. While we were excited to try a local Grayslake spot, the service was cold and hurried. Our server seemed eager for us to leave ASAP—bringing the bill before we had even finished our meal. We couldn’t help but notice we were treated differently than other tables, making us feel uncomfortable and unwanted. We were looking for a warm, welcoming experience but left feeling hurt and saddened. I hope management addresses how staff treats all guests, regardless of their background.”

Great place for food or drinks in Grayslake. I tend to keep ordering the buffalo chicken strips but have tried the pizzas too and that was good as well. Good specials on beers occasionally and the atmosphere and service is always great.
