Empanadas here are PHENOMENAL. We also grabbed a couple slices of pizza which Jesse freshly fried chicken cutlet to add on for my chicken bacon ranch slice. I’ve ordered pies from here previously & that is the way to go rather than just slice from the counter. But everything was so good. Jesse is super personable and friendly . The restaurant is very clean and they offer a variety of other foods I can’t wait to try next. Definitely will return.

my boyfriend and I go here regularly and I just have to say this is the greatest place to go to in the poconos. I would prefer this over any other restaurant/fast food any day of the week. Not only is the food outstanding (every single time), but you can just tell that it’s made with love. The family that owns this business is absolutely wonderful to talk to, and they just make you feel like you’re at home every time you step in the door. Whether it’s in the Broadheadsville or the Stroudsburg location, I highly recommend this place to everyone I talk to❤️

The food is amazing. Like, amazing. I’ve been to their other location in stroudsburg and the parents are sweet and attentive and yummy yummy food with good portions. The son has taken a page from their playbook, being welcoming, accommodating, and offering me some *chefs kiss* food and great service (I was having a hard day and he saw it on my face and did what he could to make me feel better, even offering me to grab a drink from the cooler on him). I didn’t have the pizza yet because I’m too obsessed with their traditional dishes, but please do yourself a favor and try. You get so much for your money and it’s homemade, not Cisco frozen stuff. I never leave reviews but I think this place is worth it.

They have Pizza! Ordered a little of everything for dinner for the family. They are just as good as the Stroudsburg location! Perfectly cooked rice, juicy flavorful meats (pernil and chicken) they are a new location so inside needs some help. But sitting outside was a real treat!

Tried beef, chicken, and pork empanadas and they were great! Also got the margarita pizza and I couldn’t stop eating it. It was delicious!

My boyfriend and I stumbled upon this place and we are so happy we did! Eric helped us out and walked us through the choices they had available & provided small samples of their food so we could make a choice for our meal. Everything we tried was so delicious and the portions were big enough for 2 full size meals. We ended up getting 2 beef & cheese empanadas (literally the BEST empanada I’ve ever had) the special beef stew and the garlic chicken. I can’t wait to come back here again and try something different!!

*UPDATE*
Tried the chichereon again and it was a million times better. Chicken was crispy but still soft in the center and juicy. Incredibly flavorful still.
Positive second experience and will put the restaurant on my rotation for ordering out now.

Will have to try again. A mixed bag for first takeout experience.
The empanadas were tasty but could and been crisper.
The mofongo and pernil was great and would order again.
The disappointment was the chicken Chicharrón . It was shoe leather dry. I might a well have been eating beef jerky. Didn’t know dark meat chicken could be so dry.
It’s sad because the flavor of the chicken was stellar. If it wasn’t so dry it would have been amazing.
Which is why I’ll leave it open for them improving and worth another try.
Will update my review after next try.
