We stopped here for dinner on our way to Ithaca trip, I glad I found this amazing place on map. Unfortunately their dishes are sold out so fast, we arrived there at 7, but only have pulled pork and two kinds of rice left, I picked seafood rice. I really enjoyed it, the rice is so flavorful, it is infused with the flavor of the dried seafoods (clam, shrimp and squid), I can’t stopped eating the rice. The pork and the beans are great too. The portion is big, the food is warm, the price is good, owner is friendly, I also got the dessert from the fridge: coco flan, was great too!

Couldn’t be more grateful. I approached Emilio’s Place to provide large serving entrees for my wedding and they greeted us with open arms. As a family owned business, the fluidity of their operation was clear from the start. We tried their menu items and placed our order with absolute confidence. The food was out of this world. Traditional meals served with care in every bite. Not only was everything fresh and delicious, but they were so happy to be a part of our wedding. Genuinely joyful and pleasant people who love their work and have pride in every serving that goes out. Can’t give them 6 stars on google but if I could I’d try for 7.

It’s only my 3rd time getting Emilio’s, but that’s just in 3 weeks.. I love them, the atmosphere and genuine kindness you’re greeted with is remarkable, even when 10 people showing up to order just 15 minutes til close. It feels like walking into my grandmas kitchen (down to the fact that they gladly offer you a sample if you never tried something). The food gives the comfort of a home cooked meal which is what brought me back again. Her garlic chicken has me hooked right now and now I think the flan does too lol love it and so glad it’s close to home

MEGA WOW! This place is AMAZING. Someone brought rice and empanadas to my sisters baby shower and I HAD to know where they got them. The food is extremely flavorful and the staff is so beyond friendly. They even let us sample a few things to see if we liked it before deciding. You NEED to stop here!

This is a hidden gem of a place in the Poconos. The younger guy who works the front is a very nice person and is super knowledgeable on the menu and is eager to help the patrons who come in and aren’t totally sure what they want yet. In Stroudsburg traveling for work and wanted real, home cooked food. Took a chance on Emilio’s place and was not disappointed! Emilio’s wife was wonderful and friendly, explained all of the food and let me taste their special. It was phenomenal! You must try this place!!!

Wow!! The ratings are right – Emilios Place is worth the stop. A counter serve empanada place, you can count on great service, friendly people, delicious food, and good vibes. I stopped in during a business trip – I am from Colorado – and I am so glad I did. Great hiking food, which is exactly what I wanted, and the staff were so so kind. Will return whenever I am back in the area!
