What a gem! The food was excellent, our server attended to us often, and the atmosphere was very calm and cozy. A piece of sanity in the downtown area with all the bustling college crowds.

We stopped in finally on our 4th trip. Wow it did not disappoint. Sunday brunch. Quaint quiet atmosphere. Perfect service & the food was amazing. We will return often. Also WD met a wonderful family and had a nice chat.

Excellent Sunday brunch! They take reservations if you’re wanting to plan ahead. They also have a nice size room in the back if you have a larger group and want a more private setting. You can’t find this selection of omelettes and eggs Benedict anywhere else. Also, a good selection of brunch drinks.

I hate to give such a negative review because our waiters were truly lovely and every bit deserving of their tip. But man, in no way shape or form is the price (over $100 after tip for two people) worth what you get, at least for dinner. The negative comments about the owners being rude to customers, and having really uncomfortable conversations with each other and staff well within earshot of their patrons are correct, as this was my experience as well. Again, I want to reiterate that the wait staff were truly lovely, and are the reason for the second of this two star review. The husband was rude to just about everyone, and the wife seemed to just completely forget where she was at times. The food was fine, but nowhere near worth the price tag. To be completely honest, I think a lot of the grievances I read about in these reviews, as well as my own, could be fixed if the owners had someone to pass the torch to. To play devil’s advocate to my own review, the breakfast/brunch options are of infinitely higher quality than dinner, so if you must go, go between the hours of 9 and 11. Go somewhere else for dinner.

Incredible dining experience. I have to admit I was skeptical when squeezing the small area past the door. I didn’t expect much since it was very busy, understaffed and the only workers there looked like they were in the weeds.

All of the skepticism disappeared though when our lovely server promptly brought us drinks and took our brunch order. I had the Classic eggs Benedict and my partner had the Bacon/Mozzarella omelet. All the food was fantastic. The service was outstanding despite the crowd and the drinks were pretty good too.

10 out 10 definitely recommend

This was a wild experience that I won’t be repeating…I can get over forgetting to ring in my food. It happens. I cannot forgive the chef screaming at (presumably) his wife through the window over it, or the host, our server and wife arguing about whether to comp anything from our bill right next to us (they did not), or the wife throwing out comments to other customers about not caring if they were “purple with pink polka dots” ikyk. Because of the delay in putting in our order my husband’s food was severely undercooked yet mine was somehow way too hot to eat. I’ve lived in Fayetteville for 21/31 years of my life and never made it to Emelia’s until today and now I know why. I have NO IDEA how this place is in business with multiple options for quality food and service literally right across the street.

One of the worst dining experiences I’ve had in Fayetteville. The service was slow and rude despite the place being nearly empty. We ordered a kid’s meal for our nine-year-old and the older lady snapped that she was “too old” for it—came across as greedy, not helpful.
Crab cakes were undercooked, lamb kebabs were flavorless (and not even on skewers), and the chicken lulu was just as bland with undercooked veggies and rice. $100+ for food that tasted like hospital cafeteria fare.
The only other diners were seniors, and much like zombies in Dawn of the Dead, they keep coming back not because it’s good, but out of habit and instinct. Pass on this tired relic.

Stopped by here for brunch. Had the crab cake eggs Benedict and the Chile relleno. The potatoes on one of the plates were room temperature. Crab cakes were too salty or overseasoned. Service was friendly though.

Stopped in to Emelia’s Kitchen for brunch today while in Fayetteville to visit family. Fantastic! I had the California omelet and a fruity rum drink. Everything was delicious and the service and the ambiance were divine.
