Needed a nice place to celebrate our anniversary and found it!!
Beautiful view of Estes Park Lake from every table. We started with the Martini Board and Blueberry Whiskey Sour. Both we excellent and beautifully presented. Focaccia appetizer was the tallest we have seen and compares very favorably to what we had in Italy. We ordered the Elk Tenderloin and Bison filet once again beautifully presented, tender and tasty. My wife said it was the best meal she has ever had. Finished dinner with Bourbon Cheesecake (outstanding!) and coffee. Great cup. Our server was Robert. Exceptional job. Everything was promptly served, he was there when we wanted him and never interrupted. Great job. We WILL be back.

The cocktails get my win for Ember. A creative menu and they take care to make them with great attention. The food is admittedly delicious as well. The one loss in stars is honestly for the price. They have plenty of tourists willing to splurge on vacation, but as a local we can really only show up for an anniversary or special occasion, even though it does not have a fine dining atmosphere to match the prices… but if you are on vacation looking to drop some dough, the food and drinks are great!

We had reservations here (and I’m glad we did—the place was packed!), but everything from start to finish was absolutely worth it. We were lucky enough to be seated outside on the deck, and it made the experience even more memorable. The evening was perfect—cool mountain air, a lake view, and a stunning sunset over the mountains. As if that wasn’t enough, two elk strolled down to the water right as the sun was setting. It honestly felt like a scene from a movie.

Our server was friendly and super attentive, which made the whole evening smooth and enjoyable. The food? Delicious. The drinks? Just as good. We sampled a few desserts at the end of the meal and loved every bite.

If you go, do not skip the bread and butter with the black salt—it sounds simple, but it’s unexpectedly amazing. We also had the veggie burger and the seabass, and both were excellent.

My boyfriend and I just celebrated our anniversary here. The lobster Mac and chicken fried chicken were delicious and cooked perfectly. Our waiter Sebastian was the highlight of our experience. He took exemplary care of us and I could not commend him more. Plus he makes an exceptional old fashioned.

Phenomenal food, service, atmosphere. A lovely dining experience. We had the bread & butter (a must), venison, sea bass, and lemon tartlet. Everything was so fantastic and it was emphasized that everything was made in-house.

We went there for our 26th anniversary. Made online reservations and mentioned the event and asked for a nice view if possible.
Arrival was really nice. This is definately and upscale place. On arrival and after being seated with a great view, our server came over, introduced himself and congratulated us on our 26th. This was a nice touch. I have never had a place have that attention to detail for a standard customers. He was well informed and spoke to the menu. Drinks were ordered and brought promptly. It was still somewhat early and the place was not even half full. The meals came faster than I expected, but with enough time to know that all was prepared fresh.
He checked on us just enough to ensure we had no needs and we enjoyed it. That is important to me.
The food was perfectly presented and delicious. The price in my opinion was very good base on the service, quality and portions and atmosphere.
This is not a standard resturant. It is upper scale. However, it is Colorado so that means dressing up is optional. But I would at least bump up to “Colorado Casual”. Nice jeans, collared shirt, pullover, button down. Sport coat if you wish. If going to a nice place, look nice.
EMBER was a wonderful experience for us as our last night in Estes. We will go back to Estes and will certainly go back to Ember. If you have never been, make a reservation and go. Service, atmosphere, views, and a wonderful kitchen.
Thank you Ember.

Embers restaurant boasts a stunning modern design, complemented by breathtaking lake views. The staff demonstrated exceptional attentiveness, occasionally bordering on over-eagerness. I opted for the Steak Frites, while my dining companion chose the Sous vide steak. Both dishes were expertly prepared, and the bourbon cheesecake dessert was a highlight. Overall, the meal was outstanding, and the dining experience was truly memorable. Given the exceptional service and cuisine, I would highly recommend Embers restaurant.

An exceptional dining experience from start to finish. My mother-in-law has a severe garlic allergy, which usually makes dining out nearly impossible for her. Chef Dan personally took the time to speak with her, understand the severity of her allergy, and ensure her meal was prepared safely and thoughtfully. She enjoyed her meal (specially prepared sea bass) which meant a lot to our family.

The service was fantastic—attentive, warm, and professional without ever feeling intrusive. The food across the table was outstanding: the best lobster bisque we’ve ever had, delicious desserts, and the clear standout of the evening was the venison tenderloin, which was executed perfectly.

Along with great food the dining space is very nice. There is a stunning view overlooking the lake that you can see from most seats. It felt warm and inviting, and casual enough to not feel stuffy.

We will definitely return again when we visit Estes.
