Seated right away, waitress was extremely polite and friendly, everything we ordered was amazing and worth it. Drinks are only offered in cans/bottles so no refills which was a bummer for some in our party, but I drink water so I was fine. The waitress as stated was great but she was also the hostess and had to manage that and all the tables which did keep her very busy. Other than that a great experience and we plan to return soon and often.

Enjoyed a fantastic and flavorful Jae Yook Bo Kum, rice, and six assorted sides. My server was friendly and answered all my questions with thoughtful kindness. The wait for the food seemed to take a while, but it was busy when I arrived. I would have enjoyed the sides to come out before the meal to break up the wait. But overall a very nice experience and I’d be quite happy to come again.

Came here for dinner, and I was pretty disappointed. Since I’m Korean, I wanted some korean food. The restaurant is called Emashiya Korean BBQ, and emashiya translates to “this is the right taste,” but the food was definitely not. Don’t be fooled by the name because I thought it was a KBBQ spot, but it had little KBBQ.
When I walked in, there were only 1 other table, and there were 2 waitresses, but it took forever to get seated. There were group of older men flirting with the waitress, and it seemed like she was giving them more attention.
The menu had either 1 or 2 rolls of kimbap, so I ordered 1 roll. When it came out, there were only 8. That is not a roll, its probably half of a roll. I ordered mul nangmyun, and there was barely any juice and was very salty. They didn’t bring out the vinegar and the mustard, which comes out with mul nangmyun. I wanted to ask, but the waitress were no where to be seen until I was almost done. I asked how come the vinegar and mustard didn’t come out, and she said she never had it with it and they didn’t have the mustard. Ask any Korean about mul nangmyun, and they will tell you that its served with vinegar and mustard.
Flavor soju is 15.99?!?!?! That is a robbery.
The service was very slow. I will definitely not return.

Enjoyed this place. Intimate atmosphere. Friendly staff. Drinks are a lil overpriced but overall menu is reasonably priced. They have karaoke rooms which is perfect for a group of 12 plus people/ $20 per hr

The food was not what I expected. The pork stir fry dish meat felt dried out and not fresh. I enjoyed the little sides and the waitress was very attentive. I will try again cause it just may have been a off night.

The galbi and bulgoki were delicious and there was a wide variety of tasty, mild banchan that was put out with the entrees. My daughter was especially pleased that the kimchi had all the right flavors, but wasn’t too hot for her mild spicy preference. The pork belly was a little lacking. A little dry and not as flavorful as the other meats. The rice was disappointing: gummy yet undercooked in the center. Service was good.

Good service and food. Sides need to meet the number of people at the table, seemed small for us. Noodle soup had plenty of noodles but the vegetables were mushy. Can do better with the broth and veggies. Not to compare with bigger cities where there are more selections. This is pretty large menu for local Augusta crowd.

Slightly on the pricier side but did not disappoint! My husband ordered one meal and we both shared and were full by the end. Total was $30. We had the 6 little side dishes with tofu soup and white rice, beef rib, grilled mackerel, and fried rice. The Mackerel was the best fish that I’ve had in the US and the beef rib was spot on, would recommend and planning to visit again!

Loved everything about this place. We’ve been looking for a bomb Korean place since our old favorite restaurant went down hill. This place was a breath of fresh air and the food was amazing! Great service, gorgeous decor, and yummy yummy food.
