Very good tasting food and authentic Mexican resto. Hubby said that they’re deliciously good! He orders the ground beef chimichanga while I ordered the 3 pcs chicken tacos. Mild salsa that goes with the chips were homemade, I even requested another bowl. I ordered to go chicken tamales and pork tamales (1 doz total), but it took 35 mins to get the to go order done. I also ordered extra mild salsa to go. They gave me free chips! This is a small, family owned business.

Today I’m giving them a 0! I don’t know who in the kitchen but please bring the abuela back!!! Dry, unseasoned! Whoever cooking back there going to stomp all over your reputation for good food! Don’t let Abuela legacy and popularity go like that! Whoever back there should be ashamed! Not to mention I payed 33 dollars for something I could not eat! The corn tortillas were soooo soggy! Ordered here for the 1st time to see what’s all the hype about. Food was horrible, the tamales were super dry on the inside & soggy on the outside. The chicken tacos were extremely dry & hard to chew. Absolutely no flavor at all. The rice was hard. It’s definitely a NO for me. $30 wasted. I’ll never order from them again. Oh and not to mention I ordered a little after they opened today….

Just tried this spot out today for the first time and we were disappointed. We waited about an hour for a to go order (which is usually no problem), but for the food to be bad? We were extremely disappointed. We ordered a torta and the bread had a spec mold on it and the bread was so old it was SO tough to bite and break that it would literally crack instead of pull like bread should. Everything else was mid. Don’t waste the drive coming here.

What an incredible meal made from scratch. True authentic Mexican food at very reasonable prices. The owners are genuine, humble, thankful and grateful for every customer. Best chimichanga and fresh homemade guacamole we have ever had. Excellent decor, family-friendly, excellent wait staff, you have to get out to Parchment, MI to enjoy this place. You won’t be disappointed:)))

Went for lunch with my husband during the week. Food was good but next time I won’t have the refried beans. They were a bit too salty for my taste. The music coming from the TV was loud. Like uncomfortably loud. Took forever to pay and leave because only one person was working at the front of the restaurant.
