And the drinks are the perfect starter, complement, and finish to the dining experience. **the bartender kudos to her**
Sunday brunch on the roof top was light and airy with the music playing is a whole vibe.
My Sunday Brunch at Elysium was excellent and I’ll definitely be back!!
Everything was cooked to perfection as well as the Oreo waffles and their grits and lamb chops.
Their brunch experience is very nice and there’s parking in the area. I highly recommend you try out their brunch. They also have a cool mimosa tower. I couldn’t pick a favorite food option!
Great vibe.
During my visit, I accidentally lost my ID. Despite emailing about it, I never received a response. On the day of my event, security said they had seen it weeks prior, but management couldn’t locate it. There should absolutely be a secure system for lost items—this is not uncommon.
Food: The food is decent, but not without issues. Suya wings were okay, though they could use more seasoning, and suya isn’t offered as a main entree—only ala carte. Some items are reasonably priced, but others are overpriced. I paid $12 for a salad because they were out of cabbage. Banana pudding waffles were my favorite bite. Food took a long time to arrive, but it was good once it did.
Service: Our server Ariana started pleasant but became distant and rude as the day went on. We had to repeatedly ask for our check, and when it finally came, the handling of the credit card machine was chaotic and unprofessional.
Atmosphere & Other Issues: There was a DJ booth, but no DJ—just Drake on repeat for three hours. The rooftop furniture is cheap and mismatched, with uncomfortable wooden benches and uneven bar chairs. Staffing seems insufficient, yet a 20% automatic gratuity is added to the bill despite poor service.
Overall, I wouldn’t recommend going here unless major improvements are made in communication, service, and organization.
Also automatic 20% gratuity…which isn’t a problem but our server let us know that it wasn’t going to her.
My bf and I stopped by after dinner just to hang out and Julian was our bartender. He has a great vibe and provided wonderful customer service. Any inconveniences we had he made sure they were taken care of.
We’ll definitely be back.
