This is my 3rd year getting pies from Elsie Mae’s for Thanksgiving. I ordered 3 pies this year & one of them was a Carmel Apple. My wife went to pick them up this afternoon at our scheduled 1pm time. She called me from there saying they made a mistake & did not have a Carmel Apple for us but could do an Apple. She doesn’t like to cause a fuss so she took the pie. I emailed Elsie Mae’s because I feel like paying the amount you do for these pies, you should get what you ordered. They quickly responded apologizing for the error and told me to keep the regular apple & they would deliver me the Carmel Apple as well this evening prior to Thanksgiving. I live about 20 minutes south of Kenosha. I received my pie this evening like they said. That is fantastic customer service & they definitely earned a lifelong customer. I really truly appreciate it! My little brother really wanted the Carmel Apple. We’ll be back for Xmas pies

Had a pizza pot pie, cornbread Italian sausage pie, cherry and blueberry pies, and some sourdough feta bread. Everything was amazing!

I purchased a maple cranberry apple pie this week I will not buy another . Five people sampled it. We threw out the remaing thing of it . It was very small in diameter, not a typo cal 9″ pie. The filling was shallow. People did not enjoy the flavor. $25.00. not recommended.

I first tried their pies at the Park Ridge farmers market in Illinois, and loved it!!! I love that they have so many options and flavors to choose from! If you’re thinking about wanting something sweet and tasty I would definitely recommend Elsie Mae’s!!

Sad to see they are temp closed. The donuts were good when we could get them on the weekends. Usually sell out quickly, which is understandable. Smaller place but a good variety of items. We liked everything we tried, enjoyed having the small pie options to try a variety of them. Didn’t try any mixes or other store offerings. If the location was more central to the downtown, I think they would do way more business and be more known, the location is hidden within an industrial park.

Oh, my! A quick Google search brought me to Elsie Mae’s doors. Great luck! The Wisconsin berry turnover was flaky and delicious—so clearly home-made goodness. The soda bread was amazing. There is nothing quite like exceptional quality bakery. I have no doubt all the items are wonderful. I’ll need to return.

We organized an Elsie Mae Pie fundraiser for our school right before Thanksgiving, which, as you can imagine, is a hectic time and quite a challenge to manage a school full of orders. We encountered a few bumps along the way, but Paul truly went the extra mile to ensure the fundraiser was a huge success! He was fantastic to work with and an all-around wonderful person! The feedback from our school community has been overwhelmingly positive, with everyone raving about how delicious the pies are! Thank you for bringing such a delightful treat to our holiday celebrations!

The store is very neat and clean with a nice area with high top tables and chairs. There is a coffee maker and carafe! The coffee tasted good. They also have hot water for tea, so you can sit down and enjoy your pastry.
They have wonderful pies, but they are somewhat expensive, IMO. I purchased a loaf of cinnamon raisin bread, which is very good.

The guests at my wedding LOVED the pies from Elsie Mae’s! So much that we had no leftovers! That never happens with wedding desserts! Haha. Highly recommend if you’re looking for an alternative to traditional cake.

My boyfriend surprised me with this bakery on a rainy Sunday. We bought day old donuts, which were really good & packed full of flavor. Picked up a few pot pies to try also. Cute shop inside and out. Def. worth a stop!
