First time visiting, I was a bit disappointed. I got a bacon cheeseburger and fries, the burger was just meh, with some kind of sweet coleslaw that doesn’t even match well with the burger, fries were very soggy and greasy. There’s no prices listed on the menu outside, it was about $10 for a bacon cheeseburger, fries and a drink which wasn’t bad, I just wasn’t impressed with it at all. By the way, only cash is accepted.

What a delicious meal!!! Best shrimp & oysters we have had in a long ⌛️. Cooked just ✅️ right. And they gave us a large portion that filled us up!!! Every restaurant should follow their lead. We will definitely return for more. The service was fast and their car hop waitresses are very nice. Thank you all.

A classic. Service is amazing (they must log 20k steps in a shift!) but the food is even better. My wife is obsessed with the shrimp burger, but I love the chili cheeseburger. The hush puppies taste like honey butter is baked right in.

I remember El’s when I went to nursing school at Carteret! Ordered the shrimp burger & pepsi! Just like I remembered it. Parking was easy to get in and out. Staff friendly and personable… Looking forward to coming back!
