Loved the ambiance and the atmosphere when we walked in. Service was lovely, staff was helpful. Food was very innovative and delicious. Loved the spin they took on the deviled eggs, they were really delicious. I got the gnocchi and although I prefer the potato gnocchi I was very impressed with the flavor profile of this dish. Loved the crunch the hazelnuts, it balanced the texture of the oyster mushrooms and gnocchi. Friends got the branzino and the chicken shawarma, both people enjoyed their dishes. Salty fries were crispy on the outside and pillowy on the inside, perfectly seasoned.

Thanksgiving eve drinks and apps. First time there. Great service – thx Zack- inventive drinks – very good white Negroni – tasty apps – deviled eggs are a must.
Very well done, comfortable decor and welcoming atmosphere. Friendly & helpful staff and prices that are not cheap but neither out of range for quality.
Attention to detail is definitely at the top of their list.
If you’re anywhere near Wayzata MN you should make the effort to go here.

My spouse and I came for their German Wine dinner on our anniversary, and it was absolutely lovely! The owner Lindsay is so kind, and the food was just amazing. Amy the sommelier was very charismatic and knowledgeable, and she made the night so much fun! This is such a special place and I cannot recommend it highly enough!

I took myself out on a solo date here and had a wonderful time! The service was friendly and the vibe/atmosphere of the restaurant was great. I started with the jamon croquettes and they were delicious, but my favorite thing of the night was the ahi tuna crudo. The flavors of yuzu ponzu and jalapeño worked perfectly with the tuna and i loved the texture that the puffed rice added. I enjoyed the dungeness crab spaghetti as well, the salmon roe really elevated the dish! The drinks here are strong and made well, i was a big fan of the espresso martini and loved how it came with a slice of biscotti! Dessert was also solid, the buttermilk sea salt ice cream was great! It might be a little pricey but i would definitely come back again.

Lovely new upscale restaurant in Downtown Wayzata. Sister restaurant to The Grocer’s Table but only open for dinner/drinks. I had a wonderful margarita with black salt, followed by the Parker House with three spreads, one of which was raw honey which I am allergic too. The rolls are spectacular. I also had the little gem Caesar salad which was beautiful and tasty. Finally, I had the salty fries, absolutely delicious. Of course, I could finish nothing so I’ll have the meal again tomorrow. I only gave 4 stars for atmosphere because I had difficulty getting up into the stools at the bar, where I was seated. I’m wee so it took me several minutes to hoist myself up there. Additionally, it became very noisy. Otherwise, no complaints.

From seemingly simple deviled eggs (very complex) to burgers to Striped Bass, every bite is absolutely delicious. Flavors clean and not overdone, yet very rich. Interior is cozy, could be more dark and moody if you want to be super picky, but so close already. Can’t wait to return!

We were very excited to hear that the team behind Grocer’s Table was opening a restaurant next door with elevated food and cocktails, and had been impatiently awaiting it’s opening. After dining at Eloise tonight, I’m sad to say that while the interior is beautiful and sophisticated, and the service was wonderful, the food left much to be desired, especially given the high price point.
The meal began with complimentary nuts and olives. They were good, but it was a very small portion for three people. Next up, we tried the charcuterie board which was ok, but nothing to rave about and we wouldn’t order it again. The cracker to charcuterie ratio was definitely off.
For dinner, we ordered two Wagyu Meatloaf Wellingtons and the Dungeness Crab Spaghetti alla Chitarra. We were very excited about the wellingtons as we are always on the hunt for the best wellington in the Twin Cities…. these were not it. While aspects of the wellingtons were tasty (the side of tomato jam was wonderfully flavorful as was the duxelle cream), the actual wagu meatloaf wellington was, I am disappointed to say, extremely underwhelming and practically flavorless. The decision to make the wellington have a meatloaf consistency we all thought was a mistake as it was essentially just bland mush. It hurts me to review a wellington so poorly, but it did not live up to expectations.
As for the Dungeness Crab Spaghetti alla Chitarra: 1 out of 3 of us enjoyed it. It was way too salty and fishy (not in a good way) for me. I couldn’t eat more than a bite.
Now for something positive: the warm sticky toffee cake was quite lovely. I wish there had been a little bit more caramel, but otherwise zero complaints!
I really wanted to love Eloise, but for the high price point and the mediocre food, I can’t see going back soon.

I am really glad we took a chance on Eloise tonight. Just a fun, cozy place for a great date night. My wife ordered two different glasses of Pinot, I had the Smoked Old Fashioned. I was very pleased with the OF as I am a big fan of smoked cocktails. Presentation was fun and the taste was excellent. I’ve enjoyed the smoked whiskey drink from a rival steak house down the street in Wayzata for years – and I have to say Eloise’s was better!
We ordered Parker House Rolls and Bacon wrapped chorizo stuffed dates. The Parker House Rolls were excellent and the rosemary butter was our favorite of the three – perfect execution on the rolls! Chorizo dates I would give a 4 out of 5 – although after the rolls we would have been fine without them.
Main dishes were the Chicken shawarma for my wife and the Braised Pork Coppa for me. Both were outstanding. This is were Eloise stands out in my opinion. It’s not going to be the place where you go for the best filet in Wayzata. It’s not going to be where you go for the best seafood dish you can find at a dozen other restaurants. It IS going to be the restaurant you can go to find something new, and different. Lean into the items on the Eloise menu that you DON’T normally find on a restaurant menu and you will end your night having a great meal that you couldn’t have had anywhere else in town. Frankly I hope they steer the menu further into unique and creative options.

Eloise has stolen our hearts! The incredible atmosphere is cozy and not too noisy which is amazing. Our service has been phenomenal every time we have come with knowledgeable staff that knows the menu and can make suggestions based on your tastes. The drink menu has plenty of N/A options as well including wines and mixed mocktails, while the alcohol menu has some of my husband’s favorite drinks with beautiful flavors. You have to get the salty fries. Everything on the menu we tried has been perfectly cooked with depth of flavors in all their accompanying elements. Whether you are a dessert person or not, you need to get dessert! From the dessert sampler to the pistachio crème brûlée it will end your evening perfectly. Thank you Eloise for bringing so much joy to our date nights!

Me and my friends made a reservation for 6 and ended up coming on time with 7 people and got put at a standing waiting table because there was no space for over an hour. Once there was tables and space at a restaurant we were told we could go to the bar for a few minutes before we got sat and ended up not being sat and only eating at the bar. Not only did we not even get sat at a table, while there were tables open behind us, we didn’t get to eat off of the real menu and only got the bar menu. Awful service. The food was good for the price and the atmosphere was good.
