Great location right on the Shoal Beach, the most beautiful beach in Anguilla. They had a live band playing Caribbean music. We decided to get it to go so we could eat on the beach while our kids played in the water.
We ordered burgers and chicken tenders. The burger was surprisingly good. The downside was the service – they were definitely on island time and the food wasn’t ready when they told us it would be. We had to scarf our food down before our driver picked us up to take us back to our ferry back to St. Maarten

Beautiful location. The loungers and umbrellas are nice. We spent hours enjoying the sand and water. Very peaceful spot. Elodias is the last spot on this section of the beach but the beach continues. Tranquil, although windy.

Let’s get one thing straight: Shoal Bay East is a runway of incredible food. You can stop at the first place you see and have a perfectly nice time.
Don’t do that.
Keep walking. Walk past the umbrellas, nod at the other bars, and keep going until your calves are burning slightly and you think you might have run out of beach. That is where you find Elodia’s Beach Bar.
It is literally the last stop before the point, and let me tell you, it is the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow.
The Vibe: Where Everyone Knows Your Name (Even if They Don’t)
You know how some places feel “touristy” and others feel “local”? Elodia’s refuses to choose. It is the perfect cocktail of both.
You walk in, and it’s a blur of accents—locals debating politics at the bar, tourists with sandy feet, and expats who look like they’ve been sitting there since 1995. It’s unpretentious, it’s loud, and it’s arguably the friendliest square footage on the island. You don’t just sit here; you belong here.
The Dish: Coconut Curry Shrimp

I ordered the Coconut Curry Shrimp, and frankly, it was rude of them to make it this good.
• The Sauce: It wasn’t that heavy, gloopy curry you get sometimes. This was golden, aromatic, and creamy without being heavy. It had that sweet coconut whisper that hits the back of your throat, followed immediately by a savory curry kick.
• The Shrimp: Plump. Snappy. Cooked to that exact second where they are tender but still have a bite.
I caught myself dipping everything in the leftover sauce—fries, bread, my finger. I have no regrets.
The Soundtrack
And just when I thought the serotonin levels couldn’t get higher, the band started. Real, live, local music. Stunning place on the beach. Great snorkeling if you are willing to swim out a ways. Staff are friendly and helpful. Pleasure to spend our time with them.

The best thing about this place is the location. All of the best snorkling on the beach is right out front AND they have plenty of beach loungers that you can use if you order food/drink. We ordered both and tbh the drinks were really quite good! The food was kinda ‘meh’… it served its purpose but is definitely not worth making a special trip for. I had the chicken sandwich, which was basically one barely season piece of grilled chicken with some veggies on top and my wife had the veggie burger, which was some kind of battered and fried vegetable on a bun.
Go for the drinks and the view. stay for the snorkling and beach loungers!

Came here for a day trip with my husband. Currently on the beach and writing this review. So first impression wow, they are located on the most amazing beach. The views are incredible! The service is amazing & the staff is super friendly. Our waitress has been attentive, not pushy what so ever and checkins with us the right amount. The pina colada is the best I’ve ever had! The food was good & they don’t charge anything extra for the chairs & umbrella on the beach. They have washrooms & a change room and everything is pretty clean. I’m having an amazing time here, I would highly recommend you try this place out. Also they have a free parking lot right beside the restaurant if you are driving. They also accept American Express & have free wifi ! 10/ 10
