I don’t live in the area, but I do spend quite a bit of time in it. When I do I always make it a point to drive to this little gem of a place. It almost feels like traveling back in time. We have always been greeted with friendly staff, fantastic coffee and delicious ice cream for our kiddos. This last trip we were chatting with someone while waiting for our coffee who turned out to be the owner. Such a treat to finally meet her after spending the last few years popping in her business, buying coffee to take home and even sporting a couple t’shirts to wear back in St. Louis. She was just as delightful as the coffee.

Visited in this morning for a lavender oat milk macchiato and purchased a bag of Nicaraguan coffee. Service was great, our barista was very welcoming. She gave a few yummy drink suggestions ( cherry latte and pumpkin spice latte) and told us about the origins of our coffee beans. Overall 10/10 experience

This coffee shop is a gem! Definitely worth trying out! My friends and I stopped in on our way to the Old Fire Tower near Taum Sauk. When we first went in we didn’t see anyone so thought they might’ve been closed, right when we walked out, the owner came out to greet us. She was running the store by herself and had to take a moment, understandable. I would suggest a sign on the counter for those moments.
Any who, I really liked the option of all the different syrups, she very helpful when it came to me wanting to know if the flavors I wanted were made without artificial flavors. I was able to get something new and different and I LOVED IT!
Cold Brew w/ Pistachio & Honeysuckle Jasmine (I think it was) + Pistachio cold foam
Delicious and the overnight oats were everything I needed for a nourishing breakfast!
