I feel like I’m walking into a movie set when I come here. It’s just so quaint and lovely. And in the fall, it’s simply one of the best ways to spend a chilly morning.
You’ll have excellent food from the kitchen, items from the bakery, and coffee. They also serve alcohol and lunch items but I haven’t tried them yet. Service is quick and friendly.
Truly one of my new favorite places and well worth the 20 minute drive from Buffalo. Stay a while longer and stop at the other cute shops in East Aurora, including Second Nature right next door.
It truly deserves a visit. Highly recommended!
Food and bread was very fresh and on point. And the kitchen super clean
The line was wrapped around the store and no employees were managing it or telling anyone where to stand. When it was time for me to order, the older woman who was taking my order put her finger up to me ☝️to wait while she chit chatted with another employee.
When she finally took my order and we paid, she didn’t give us any direction on where to get our food or drinks, and just shuffled us out of the way to take the next customer. It felt as though there was an assumption everyone there was a regular, and we didn’t receive any direction, kindness or even respect from her.
As coffee lovers, my husband and I ordered a cappuccino, a pumpkin spice latte, and an iced matcha, along with a breakfast sandwich. The cappuccino was a latte (way too much milk), and the espresso was burnt and bitter in both drinks. The matcha was also underwhelming and dark green in color (old and/ or oxidized).
The restaurant was clean, and the atmosphere was generally nice, but this isn’t the place to go if you are looking for a really great espresso or high quality drink.
The prices are very unreasonable for what they are serving.
This restaurant has the illusion of being nice/ high quality, but they’re serving cheap, poorly made items without care. You can see it in the low rise of their loafs, poorly made drinks, and stingy sandwiches.
