Always has a great breakfast but I really love the burger. Super affordable either by itself or deluxe with fries and cole slaw. Wish I took a picture of the menu to show the price. Plus it’s only two dollars to add bacon to your burger if you want. basically paid $20 (with tax and tip) for a double bacon cheeseburger deluxe with a Diet Pepsi. The only downside is that you only get 1 refill with the soda.
Chicken tenders are good albeit a little expensive. DO NOT GET THE CHICKEN WINGS! They’re so small they’re like sparrow wings. Not worth it.
Best chocolate chip pancakes I’ve ever had. They didn’t even need syrup.
Fantastic grilled chicken and they give you a good amount too.

My fiancé and I have been coming to this diner for over six years, and I can confidently say it’s one of the best diners out there. So many newer diners are overly focused on aesthetics and trying to make their food look good for Instagram instead of prioritizing taste. This place is one of the few that still feels warm, homey, and like a real diner. The staff is always welcoming and genuinely kind, which makes the experience even better. While other diners worry about appearances, this one focuses on what actually matters—great food that tastes amazing.

The service was great! My omelette was really good, my daughter loved her pancakes and my girlfriend loved her waffles.

A little classic small diner experience. We arrived with a large group (arrangements made in advance). The staff was wonderful, courteous, and efficient in dealing with the large group ordering process. The food was delightful. I heard rave reviews from everyone in the group. I had a great pastrami on rye. Will definitely go back another time (as a smaller family visit rather than as a group). If they handled a group of this size with such grace, it speaks volumes about their owners and staff. Great food and great service are appreciated!

4.5 stars. Service was great. Our server Bonnie was very kind and helpful. Food was good. We got 3 french toast w/ strawberries, the power breakfast quesadilla and an all american panini which all hit the spot. We will definitely be back again.

I am here on a business trip and was craving a diner type meal. After looking at reviews, I decided to try Elm Diner. I was not disappointed. I ordered the Mexican skillet and it was delicious. The food was delicious, the server Kim was very friendly and attentive. The prices were good as well. If I am ever back, I will definitely visit again. Keep up the great work!

This place has become a breakfast bedrock for me. The food and service are consistently good. They’re almost ALWAYS open, and I enjoy seeing the regulars come when I’m there, which goes to show that this establishment has great roots in this community. I’d highly recommend them and will keep going!

Best Diner in the area. The portions are so big you can bring food home and have it the next day. The food is awesome. The Staff second to none and the diner is clean. My favorite place.

My family has loved Elm Diner for generations. I reckon it’s woven into the fabric of our DNA. When my Great Great Great Grandpappy walked off the Santa Maria for the first time, and Pa’s feet sunk into the wet sand of the Connecticut beaches, the first thing Grandpappy did was visit Elm Diner. It was the greatest decision he ever made. Elm Diner has all the fixins. Me and my kin have called this place home for centuries. Everytime me and the Mrs. Eat here well by golly we’re happier than a pig in mud. 10 stars out of 5.
