Elm City Social in New Haven offers a cool and inviting atmosphere. The ceiling features a colonial map of the city, adding a touch of history to the decor. The service is exceptionally friendly and attentive, making it a pleasant dining experience.
I started with a Bayside ($12) which is a non alc, but I added gin which was delicious. My second drink was The Oxalo Halo ($15) which I didn’t care for. My entree was the cool ranch crispy chicken sliders ($15) with a side of fries. The chicken was crispy and delicious, and the fries are equally satisfying. I had a nice time, and would definitely go back.

Elm City Social delivered an incredible brunch experience today, and Alina truly made it exceptional. The restaurant was absolutely packed, yet she handled the rush with calm professionalism and warmth. She kept us informed about when drinks and food would arrive and checked in thoughtfully throughout, making sure everything came out exactly as it should. Even in the middle of a very busy service, she went above and beyond to take great care of us.
And the food was phenomenal. The pork belly Benedict and short rib Benedict were both outstanding. Rich, flavorful, beautifully prepared, and easily some of the best brunch dishes we’ve had in a long time.
We’re also so proud of the work Chef John is doing in the kitchen. It really shows in the quality and creativity coming out of Elm City Social right now.
Between the incredible food and Alina’s attentive service, this was a brunch to remember. We’ll absolutely be back.

For some reason, this review deleted my text. My “stars” rating is accurate, but thr details are important ..
My wife booked a mixology course (specifically, we did the Margarita & Tequila course). It was great! Lots of fun and a great “bang for thr buck” (was a gift, but can see the price on the website ) .. 3 full size quality cocktails that you learn to make, and a buffet of apps during the course. (The Chicken & Blueberry Waffle app is to DIE for! )… We ran about 15 mins. late because of parking (That’s New Haven for ya!), but we slid in and picked up without missing a beat!
Side note is that my wife is Gluten Free (one other “classmate” guest was vegetarian), and special app service was accommodated!

Wife & I had a great date night here. The staff is very friendly, and the food was top notch. They definitely have a good chef in the back. And they also had some festive seasonal drinks that we really enjoyed. We will definitely come back to Elm City Social!

Ordered the chicken and waffles and deviled eggs, both were so good and came out super fast. I had the Blueberry Bliss, my boyfriend got the Stunna, and we shared the Elm City Refresher. Great food, great drinks, and quick service. Definitely coming back!

Wonderful service and great cocktails. The inside is spacious with a huge bar area. There is also an outdoor area in the front if you want to come with your pup. The rubber duck them is very different and yet appropriate given the history of New Haven.

I went on Halloween. Patrons came is costume, so was I. That was cute. The food was just okay and same for the service. The appetizer(short rib beef tacos) it was ok. It came with no utensils or napkins then I ordered the blackened salmon, what I received wasn’t that. The fish was dry and rank. It came with corn that was very salty. Again with the utensils..smh I was disappointed. I don’t believe I’ll go back. It was a recommendation from a friend but nope, not what I expected. Also, a bit pricey so I was done.

I came here for a friend’s event. They had booked a room upstairs for a small gathering. The room has its own bar and is quite spacious. The staff were very nice and accommodating.
