I walked past this place and people have been telling me that it’s a Lowell staple. I decided to try it. They dont take card payments but conveniently had an ATM machine inside that charged me $3 (++) to pull cash out. I ordered a hotdog and a steak sandwich. Is this really what a good dog is to people? The food was very bland. Hotdogs were $3 but to be honest it was probably only worth $1 for the quality and taste. The fries were okay nothing too special. Glad I tried it, and will not be recommending this place. Also now I know never to come back. It’s sad because the staff were nice and friendly. I liked the old school vibe of the joint but the food just aint it.

Elliot’s had the best onion rings – we had to order a second round. The hot dogs were great and the root beer was really cold and delicious. The atmosphere was real, complete with legal advice, scratch-off tickets, and Lowell banter.

Service is super fast, they have delicious hotdogs combinations and the way they serve is so kind, place is open to dine in, have a small parking on the side for customers…cash only but they have an ATM inside, prices are so good

Eliot’s is a Lowell institution. Their prices are fair and the dogs are great. I highly recommend their chili cheese dog, as the chili is homemade and helps take the dog to the next level. Their fries are crisp and they also offer them Cajun style. A must-stop for the hot dog lover.

I was born in 1962 on Bartlett street in Lowell, Ma to a single mother who didn’t believe in the welfare system. Elliot’s was one of the foods I was raised with on the dinner table, Mom being to tired to cook some day’s would stop at Elliot’s after work and bring home hotdogs and fries from Elliot’s! Forward to 2021 and like Ed McMahon I still stop at Elliot’s for that good old memory taste of the past.. I highly recommend you try Elliot’s at least once in your life! Here I sit today with 2 Chili cheese dogs and fries with a rootbeer to wash it all down with.
