***UPDATED AT BOTTOM*** I’m confused because I’ve come here multiple times. Literally almost everyday of the week and it seems the quality has taken a nosedive. I’ve gotten the same drink every single time. A large tuxedo freezer with whip. It usually comes with chocolate syrup on the inside of the cup and chocolate syrup on top. Not only did the chocolate syrup become less and less, but it disappeared entirely! The drink doesn’t taste or look the same. It’s not as enjoyable and when I addressed the fact that the syrup usually comes on it, mind you I’ve gotten this drink so many times I’ve lost count, she said to my face that it normally doesn’t come with syrup on it, only on the whip. And I quote, “Some people just don’t follow the rules.” So is that everyone but her? Because I’ve never not gotten any with it on it. EVEN FROM HER. This isn’t the first time she has taken my order. She handed me one WITH CHOCOLATE SYRUP ON IT just this past week. Make it make sense. The drink just doesn’t taste the same. I don’t know if there’s new employees or training or whatever the case may be but I have a problem with spending my money somewhere I can’t be sure what quality I’m getting the product in. It’s so inconsistent. So my advice is to enjoy an experience here and there but do not make this place your regular coffee spot. You will be disappointed at the lack of consistency.
UPDATE: I increased the stars to 4 because I went today and asked which freezers come with syrup in them. The kind lady informed me of the 5 that included it. Which included the tuxedo freezer. I was hesitant to ask and go back but I really wanted to ask someone and give them the benefit of the doubt because I actually like this place. I’m not sure of the lady’s name who helped me today but she was on the other side today, 1/5/2026 @ 8 am. Very helpful! Very understanding! She did her best to make it right, and I’m grateful. I will continue to come here, and hopefully I won’t have the same problem again. I’ve included a photo of how it was made today. I did not order extra syrup. Thank you again!

I love this little coffee shop… But I have asked for my English muffin to be double toasted or super extra toasty… And they never do it. 🙁 I love this sandwich! I just want the toasty-ness.

I was visiting the area and searched coffee shops. What a pleasant surprise! The staff was so helpful, the barista who took my order gave me suggestions and I loved my iced coffee. They have alternate milk and sugar free flavors. The blueberry stuffed muffin was also a huge hit! What a unique idea. Thank you for the great coffee and great service! It will be my go to spot for future visits!

Really no complaints, the croissant could have used a little salt, and as it was my first time, I got regular ☕, I don’t know if they had anything better, but it and the food were good. BTW , they use cheddar cheese for the croissants, in case anyone was wondering! The Girl at the window, she’s a different story! She was super cheerful, super helpful, and super nice! I’m sorry for calling her a Girl, I don’t know her title.

My total today was 13$ and when they closed and totalled the register my charge was updated to 16$ without my consent. I went thru the drive thru and did not leave a tip as it is a drive-thru. Ive called 3x and Noone is answering. 3$ is not that large but its the principal. Who else do they do this to that doesnt pay attention. Im not rich and every penny of mine is accounted for. We drove through ellianos shops all over and love the joy shot. We had tried this location probably 10 times and it’s never ever the same drink as the other 7 locations in Alabama and Georgia that we’ve tried. Please contact any of the other stores and find out how to make it! I love this coffee shop! But it’s $5 at other locations and delicious (CONSISTENTLY) and $9 here and never ever the same

I visit the maple st one frequently and I’m never disappointed. The food and drinks are great , the staff and service is top notch , speedy service. And I love the sugar free chocies they have, even though I get the same thing every time .
