This is the very definition of a small town diner. There’s some German flavors available or just straight up Americana for breakfast. Place comes with diner waitresses and regular patrons and that feeling of a timeless place that runs just the way it would’ve in nineteen thirty as it would in thirty nineteen.

Elke and her staff are positively wonderful! Service is always 5 star, as is the food! Truly a treasure in small diners. I always enjoy the close family feel of the restaurant. They treat their customers like family, and you’ll often find conversations between staff and customers taking place as if the friendships had been around for generations. Elke brings a bit of Germany to our small town, you absolutely can’t beat the food! I hope Elke’s Diner is here for many, many years to come.

was taking a walk to get breakfast at hardees and as we walked past Elke’s diner my daughter said dad how about we eat here and support our local businesses. They serve breakfast right, she asked. I replied of course they do. so we proceed to enter the establishment and immediately can feel and smell the home style atmosphere and was treated with service and a meal that complimented the experience. Personally I thought the prices was a little steep but that could change if more people was to come and enjoy the the delicious home cooked style meals and support local small businesses.

A very quaint experience, good food, and outstanding service. With smaller places like this, service is where it matters, and Elke’s knocks it out of the park here. It’s a good restaurant with good people running it.
