The PEOPLE make the difference!!! Don’t get me wrong… the pizza, mozzarella sticks, fried ravioli, and fried zucchini were ALL AMAZING. The REAL difference you’ll find at Elizabeth’s in Denton is the people… that is the secret ingredient. We (a large, loud, boisterous group of 10) walked in just 45 minutes before closing after we had spent the afternoon at the Denton Farm Park. We were not met with frustration, annoyed looks, or sighs. Instead we were happily greeted like old friends or better yet… FAMILY! This was our first time ever eating here since we live about 40 minutes away but we felt at home. Miranda (our server) made sure we were taken care of from beginning to end and Raphael (the owner) ensured that the red carpet was rolled out. He truly was a spectacular host. He worked the kitchen, ran the floor, and manned the counter. I truly can not say enough about our experience. Ordered the Sicilian-style “stuffed” steak pizza with extra cheese and an antipasto side dish. What I got was a round pizza that was super dry, not “stuffed” and what appeared to be a normal amount of cheese on it. All the way through, it was just dry, tasteless, sauceless, and the crust didn’t look handmade (imho) and was unusually dense – almost like biting into a hush puppy. Most (no, every) Sicilian pizza I’ve ever had were always square, airy and thick – not too dense, a good amount of sauce and cheese, moist on top but a crunchy crust, and never using what appeared to be Steakums for actual steak!! And when paying extra for extra cheese – it better have extra cheese!! We were so disappointed!!
The antipasto was basically a ham & cheese salad, no fermented vegetables or meats, no good aged cheeses. Olives, vegetables from a supermarket. High price point as well. Not worth it.
Great place to have a beer and watch the game? Maybe. I wouldn’t order these two items again unless they made some serious changes on how they make them. Maybe someone else will try that and report out.

First time here but I love how when you are at the front counter ordering your food you can see the full length of the kitchen and you can see how clean it is.
Got the steak and cheese with fries.
Delicious.

Not sure how this place could have such bad service. We went to dinner today at 5:30pm and we’re the ONLY table in the restaurant, server NEVER came by to fill our drinks. I had to go up to the register to get my ticket to pay. I then ordered some canolis and cheesecake and had to go wait about 5 minutes for them to bring it out! Only time the server came to the table. On top of this the cheesecake I ordered was frozen!!! No toppings just a frozen piece of cheesecake.. for $7. The spaghetti and calzone tasted good but service and dessert i was highly disappointed. If they are this slow when only one table i hate to see what it’s like when they are busy.

Two friends introduced us to this restaurant and we loved it so much we went back with our whole crew of family and friends. The food is absolutely fantastic and the service is awesome! If you want real authentic Italian food try this place and you won’t be disappointed! I could eat their lasagna every day!
