**Supposely under new management***
Called for my catering order… told pick up time 8am. Get the the place.. No one’s there and called the number on the window. Same number I called to place the order. Given a different number to call as I was told he is no longer the owner on the catering part. Interesting as that’s the number I called to place my order. I called the number and they were rude. Let’s just stay… I did not get my order. They lost a customer as I always go there for my samosas. No more!!!

The meat was tough and difficult to chew with large amounts of fat.
The entire meat was just rubbery and tasted bland. Please have experienced cooks source the meat and cook. Please don’t ruin your reputation going cheap.

Friendly staff who make you feel like family, great customer service, and delicious food at elite prices. Cooked and packaged well. Elite has a wide variety of vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes, especially South Indian cuisine catered for the Keralite community.

Food tastes like an authentic Kerala food. Service is okay. But they need serious improvement in good hygiene. Few people (guess regular customers or owner’s friends) just walk into the kitchen and shake hands with the people serving customers.

Elite Catering has one of the most diverse menus of authentic Kerala cuisine out there! The best part is they have an extensive selection ready at the store, so you can just grab and go! Salmon curry, fish moilee, beetroot thoran, biryani, butter chicken, and so much more! Their service is exceptional – they supported my elderly father during Covid (and beyond) with homemade food and even dropped it off for him! Always grateful for their Kerala hospitality!

Our favorite Kerala food joint in the whole of Chicago. While traveling in the area, we always make it a point to stop by, either to have a quick meal or to pick up large quantities for food to eat later. Food always tastes excellent here.
The only feedback I would offer to the management is to install a standard Point of Sale system for better customer order management. During the Easter weekend, there was a huge demand which strained the kitchen and front-end staff alike, resulting in long wait time for some customers and in some cases, missed items in the order.

They are caterers serving events and weddings. But they provide take out of cooked and freshly packaged food. The cuisine is from Kerala, southeast coast of India. The birthplace of Vindaloo. Very authentic flavors. The owner operators are very friendly and helpful. I recommend it highly for any Indian. If you are a local, ask their assistance for dishes that suit your spice tolerance.

An excellent place to buy South Indian food. It is not a restaurant, so to can’t dine there but you can buy food To Go. You will find more Kerala dishes there. You will get both vegetarian and non-vegetarian food which includes Rice and curries, Biryani, chicken /beef/fish curries. You can also buy snack items. You will find more variety of items on Sundays. They offer catering service, so you can order items for functions.
