We come here multiple times a week. Everything is great. Staff are friendly and courteous. Music is at a good level to listen or talk. Great cocktail menu (they have green chartreuse!). Rotating weekly specials. Good size rail and plenty of tables. The patio in the summer is not to be missed. It’s a neighborhood favorite and say hi if you see me!

The best neighborhood restaurant and bar! You will get good service, decent food and wonderful drinks. The martini is the best, they have a great wine list, and I always look forward to the chalkboard specials each week. I really appreciate that they have a section of “soup/salad/sandwich” variations on the menu that is available all the time. It’s spacious with variety of seating and a private room for a small group. The vibe is cozy -dark wood, red hues, not fussy. They low key have one of the best patios complete with tabletop fire pit. We go here often when we want comfort , a little class, and great drinks.

Such a great spot! Super kind waiter and brunch was amazing. The hash browns were the best I’ve ever had and I’m still dreaming of them. Great pricing too

This is a neighborhood place for us – comfortable, convenient, and good food & drink. We like to get there early for a window booth. The specials are varied and the food is typically very good but not pretentious. Tonight we had the pasta special, shrimp cocktail, and tomato basil soup. Yummy.

Eli’s holds a special place in my heart. We’ve been going here regularly for many years, and it never disappoints. The food is always delicious, the staff are incredibly friendly and personable, and the weekly specials are consistently creative and excellent.
One of the things I love most about Eli’s is that there’s no “scene.” You can show up in jeans and a sweatshirt or walk in dressed up after a formal event and feel just as welcome. The atmosphere is relaxed, friendly, and genuinely inviting.
On top of all that, the pricing is very reasonable for the quality of food and experience. Eli’s is one of those rare places that just gets it right every time.

Enjoyed a lunch with our oldest here as he liked the Eli’s downtown. It didn’t disappoint as we all enjoyed different menu items including California burger, Pastrami, Mac and cheese, and tomato soup. All were very good and the service was very responsive and helpful.

We went for lunch and there was hardly anyone there. I liked the decor. The waitress was very attentive and friendly. We both ordered the Steak and Cake. It’s tenderloin, crab cake, sauteed spinach, and yucon gold mashed potatoes. The spinach was very greasy and upset my stomach. The tenderloin didn’t have much flavor. The rest of the food was okay.

Cute little restaurant and bar in NE Mpls. Sat at the bar and the service was great, usually is! I started with some not so bubbly sparkling wine but still tasted fine and we ordered a few small plates to get a taste of what they have. Taco was small but pretty good, love that you can order 1 or a dozen, the crab cake was more cake then crab with red pepper sauce, I prefer my crab cakes with more lump crab vs shredded crab that just blends with batter, and the not so creamy banana cream pie; it was more of a cheesecake style dessert, still tasted good just different then I was expecting. The bananas on top were delicious and worth fighting over!
