Food was not good. My husband ordered the bacon wrapper fillet and 30 minutes later was told they were out so he got a hamburger instead. I ordered the popcorn shrimp meal with a baked potato. When the food came out my baked potato was the size of the sauce dip cup and the popcorn shrimp was burnt oily crumbs.

Owner and staff were fantastic. Went home to get us T-shirts. Strawberry cheesecake was tops, and she gave us Tupperware pie container too. Philippines influence, ask for the Lumpia egg rolls. She made those special too. Make the effort it’s worth the stop…

Food is delicious! Almost too much variety, in a good way, covering a lot of bases! Time from order to delivery is heavily influenced by room capacity and waitstaff efficiency. Plate presentation could be better/more consistent.
Service is friendly and welcoming. Depending on the crowd, you should expect a friendly face to welcome you and get you started on drinks and your order in a reasonable time frame. However minimum staffing and/or lack of training leaves something to be desired on an ‘off day’.
The long time locals make up the majority of regular patrons and most, if not all, of the staff. There is always an opportunity to learn some Kansas history, catch up on the local news or just have a friendly conversation on one’s way through town. The atmosphere at Ele’s Corner is never dull if you enjoy making new connections and taking in some the heartland American vibes.

Try not to even go here anymore. Every time we go it usually takes 1.5 hrs to get our food. Wind up receiving chips and salsa because it takes so long. Prices increased and quality went down. It’s a shame as we are limited for food options here. Almost impossible to each lunch herr during the work week as it takes too long to get the food. Last time we ate here it took 35mins longer for the last person eating with us to get his food.

Terrible, don’t waste your time or money. $4.25 for a small bagged salad that had a lot of brown parts to the lettuce. Waited over 45 minutes for 2 hamburgers and fries that tasted like a 5 year old made it.

Tried out the breakfast burrito to go. It was very filling as it was packed with sausage, bell peppers, hash browns and cheese…not very many eggs though. It was served with toast, hash browns and salsa. Very good breakfast.
