We usually get food to go from here but decided to dine in today. Staff is friendly and attentive and the food was great. Always seems to be a crowd here but we got a table quickly and the food came out within reasonable time. I always get the pad Thai and my wife enjoys the pad see ew and the sushi. Definitely recommend!

The food was PHENOMENAL. Every item was brought out in a timely manner, everyone was served their food at the same time, the serving sizes are very generous, the sushi was amazing and very fresh with beautiful platting. The staff were all incredibly friendly. I could not recommend this restaurant more. The atmosphere was also great, their playlist is very fitting. You have to try it.

Very decent Thai restaurant. The Pad Thai was a touch too sweet, but still very good. My wife chose fried rice, and it also was good. The Tuna Chips appetizer was excellent and I’m looking forward to going back to try their sushi rolls and curry.

Absolutely fantastic!!! Amazing and delicious! Just moved here and had this place 3 times! A little pricey but worth every penny! Me and my wife usually order to go and the place is always poppin! But we always get our food on time! They are really good at what they do, and you can tell a lot of love and attention goes into the food! It just hit different! Nothing but great things to say about this restaurant! If you find yourself in South Charleston and in the mood for Asian cuisine then this place is a must!!!

The Pink Dragon roll was amazing. The woman that was standing at the register during the time I was picking up my order wasn’t very welcoming, kind of seemed annoyed when she was responding to me about my pick up order. Which, I know it was probably a long day and it was the day of the reopen but it was a tad off putting. Other than that, everything was amazing.

I try to order something different every time I go. Some dishes have been good and others have been great. I’ve yet to find anything bad. I hadn’t tried their sushi until now and I’ve been missing out. This is now my favorite local sushi spot.
The decor is a little bland but it’s clean and the service is always friendly.

Delicious food. Prices are on the higher end for thai restaurants. Enjoyed our dinner.

Really good food at an outrageous price.

We were driving through the area and my wife called in an order of Pad Thai for us to eat on the road. We arrived, she picked it up and came out to tell me it was $27 for a single dish. I was floored!

The food was excellent, but I would never pay that much. We eat Thai food fairly often and usually pay half this amount.

I can’t speak to the service, or atmosphere, so maybe those are good. But the prices and audacity to ask for a tip on a to-go order was too much for me.

I’m a big fan of Elephant Thai. It has been extremely consistent over the last few years. The flavors are rich and delicious. I’ve eaten at some great Thai restaurants and some average ones in my lifetime and I consider Elephant a really good Thai restaurant. We order summer rolls, spring rolls, avocados roll (sushi), pad thai, Thai fried rice or a massaman curry. I recommend them all. This place has a strong local following and will be busy at 6pm. Go early or late.

2 out of the 4 of us enjoyed our meals — the stir fried garlic shrimp was delicious and the sweet & sour chicken was also a winner. Nothing wrong with the prik khing — this was just his first time having Thai food and it was a bit different (and spicier!) than he was expecting. The other person ordered pad see ew and found it to be too dry.

Our waitress was very good at first, but then she just kind of started ignoring our table toward the end of our meal and we had a difficult time getting her attention to get our check. The restaurant is very noisy, which happens in a small space like they have, but the worst part is the chimes they have hanging on the front door. They are so high-pitched and ear-piercing that every time someone would enter or leave, we’d be sitting there cringing and wondering why a place that small feels they need such an obnoxiously loud signal on their door.
