Just tried Elephant East in uptown Dallas and it was a real treat! Fleet at the bar is amazing. We ordered the bang bang shrimp and the Korean fried chicken and both dishes were amazing. The shrimp had just the right amount of spice and the chicken was perfectly crispy. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for some delicious Asian cuisine.

Absolutely loved this place. Small and cozy, low lit vibes. Good for date nights. Our server, Dakota, was very attentive. It’s a little pricey, but worth it… the food was very good. I hope to visit the area again. I highly recommend the bang bang shrimp, fried rice, and the sea bass.

This is my favorite Thai restaurant in Dallas! The restaurant is very appropriately decorated. They even have a neat movie prop fitting into the restaurant’s theme that they welcome sharing the story about. The General Manager, Kyle, and his staff are always the friendliest and most welcoming. The food and cocktail menus are everything! I love starting out with the amazing Bang Bang Shrimp, followed by the Korean Fried Chicken. To end the experience I like to top it off with some Chinese donuts! For my go-to cocktail, I prefer the Dragon’s Eye! Thank you Elephant East for making every experience amazing! See you soon!

Never gave 1 star to anyone, worst food I ever had in my *life* (no exaggeration). Both Tom Yum and Miso soup were horrible, garlic noodles were sweet (like a dessert), and there was no garlic flavor or other flavors. All food items pretty much felt flat in taste (basically tasteless). Mushrooms were very raw with no taste, and being a lover of mushrooms, I won’t be able to eat them for a few months now. Edamame was hard and tasteless as well.

Our party used the valet service. Which was a nice amenity . WE had a 715p reservation, and were seated promptly. Hostesses were smiling and friendly – held the door for us as we entered the venue. The waiter Julian was super friendly and attentive we will give him a 5 stars. Restaurant was clean and cozy, had a great vibe. Food was delicious- ordered the drunken noodle it had a little kick…but yummy, Korean beef Bulgogi dish, side order of mushrooms, spring rolls for appetizer. TASTE IS 5 STARS… a little disappointed that we only were served 2 spring rolls for 3 of us. Was told they usually cut them in half and the reviews online from former patrons pics on portion size needed to be updated- I would suggest stating how many come for the appetizers in the future -to avoid disappointment. THEY WERE TASTY… I did take part of my food home in a to go box because I was full. Just wish there were more for an appetizer, so I gave a 4 star for that. Had we known it was just 2 we may have ordered an additional appetizer for our party. We also got wild and ordered a few drinks. One really unique feature at the bar is the purse hooks- so you dont have to set your purse on the bar top or floor. LOVE THAT! Bartender was very friendly- smiling – great interaction with patrons. He had us smiling. SAKE was available. I had the thousand smiles, very unique drink- I enjoyed it. Our party ordered a Honey do and a Spring Snow. Both very good cocktails. I am disabled and use a cane – it was easy to move around and sit comfortably. We were seated in a booth with oversize comfy pillows near the bar. It was just a very delightful and uninque ambiance setting great for a intimate dinning expierence. Music was soothing and not to loud- you didnt have to talk over it, which I really liked. Saw a few couples with bouquets of flowers dinning here. You did have the option of eating with chop sticks or traditional dinning silverware. We were offered the dessert of Korean donuts and banana cheesecake. WHICH I would have loved to have tried, but had mothers day cake at home. I had a wonderful mother’s day dinner here and will definately be returning. A VERY GREAT RESTRAURANT… 4.7 stars..

Last night we kicked off a very close friend’s birthday weekend by visiting Elephant East….I’ll start by addressing the in the room and say that this restaurant was a little underwhelming….The ambience and mood both have strong potential and character; however, the food and drinks are unfortunately lacking. To start, I had the Szechuan Pork & Shrimp Dumplings as appetizers and Thousands Smiles for a starter drink. The Dumplings were ok, but definitely not bad at all, but I probably wouldn’t have them again. The drink wasn’t good, the taste was similar to someone throwing random liquors together and then adding flavoring. Next, I had the Beef Pad Thai with added Pork Sausage. I would like to mention that my favorite food is Thai food and I’ve eaten many Pad Thai and had it a few times while in Phuket, but unfortunately this Pad Thai was simply not for me. For my second drink, I had the Samurai Mule. Mmmmmhmmm now this drink was very tasty!!!. I wish I had this prior to requesting the Thousands Smiles. I would strongly recommend the Samurai Mule. Lastly, for the dessert, I had the donuts. Which were pretty tasty, still nothing to write home about. I would also like to point out the ambience and mood was nice and the service was extremely attentive. Thank you Julian, he took great care of our party. Overall I would give Elephant East a

The place and decor is really nice. It’s dimly lit I guess is for the ambience. But with the hype of this place on social media, I personally don’t think that it is worth it for the price. The staff is really nice and they were friendly and they always checked up on us. But the food although it is really good and delicious, the portions are not it. I ordered the lettuce wraps and I got a lettuce wrap. With the Korean fried chicken, I thought there was gonna be a lot of them, but there was only like few pieces and I was still hungry afterwards. The banana cheesecake dessert was amazing. The lychee martini feels overpriced but again wasn’t enough but it’s tasty. I’m not hating on the food because of the quality, it’s the quantity. My friends and I ended up going next-door to Poco Fiasco to get more food because it was just not enough. It leaves you feeling hungry which for what I paid for, I don’t think it should be like that.

Elephant East has an amazing ambiance, the nicest employees and delicious food! My friend and I ordered the Bang Bang Shrimp which was devoured in minutes! It was too good!! We also ordered the Drunken Noodles and Korean Fried Chicken that came with a side of white rice. The Korean Fried Chicken wasn’t as crispy as we thought it would be but it still had a nice flavor. The drinks were perfect and strong!
