The ambience is great. Very lively restaurant however, the service wasn’t the best. The staff overwhelmed which is why I couldn’t give this place 5 stars. Patrons were getting their food before others that were there long before. Luckily we didn’t experience that but we did have multiple staff attempt to bring us courses we had already completed. Service has serious room for improvement.

Went to Elephant East for my birthday and they made it an unforgettable experience. The service was great. They had a birthday card for me on the table when we arrived and were very attentive. I had the drunken noodles and bang bang shrimp and both were delicious. The decor was beautiful. I will definitely be back and highly recommend, especially for a special occasion.

Pho is not good — 2/10. It is aesthetically pleasing; however, the broth lacks depth and flavor. The menu mentioned “lotus,” which was confusing because I didn’t see any lotus or how it was incorporated into the dish. The broth tasted like straight water; even a packet of store-bought ramen has more flavor. I was wondering why I couldn’t find any photos of it on the reviews and I guess now I know why.
The wagyu was buttery and tender, but it still didn’t make up for the poorly seasoned broth. Traditional Vietnamese pho has a rich, flavorful broth and doesn’t require additional sauces to create flavor—unlike this one. This pho lacked the traditional seasonings of a good pho. They also used rice noodles that were much thicker than traditional pho noodles, almost spaghetti-like, which did not pair well with the broth.
The drunken noodles were a 6/10 but also lacked the bold flavors expected in a traditional Thai dish. The edamame, however, was a 9/10—very nicely seasoned and toasted.
Additionally, the restaurant is very small, and the tables are placed close together. If you want more comfortable spacing, I recommend sitting in a booth where people won’t bump into you while you’re eating.

We enjoyed a decent dinner with outstanding service. Will was very knowledgeable of the menu and attentive during our dinner.

There is free parking in the garage but you must ask for validation.

My only complaint is that there is a happy hour advertised, however, the price was not honored for my drink.

Went here for the first time on a Friday night.
Parking was available at the garage so that was a plus.
The food was delicious – I had their Black Pepper Beef and Edamame
The service was excellent
The only downside was that it was way too hot which made it hard to enjoy the meal and a tad bit crowded.
I think I would like to return on a weekday and give it a second chance.
Other than that I definitely recommend this place.

Me and my partner came here for Valentine’s Day. There was a small line out the door however we were greeted with a complementary glass of champagne. The hosts were really friendly. The restaurant was beautifully decorated. The food did take a while to come out, but with the line and the restaurant being full, it was expected. The server was really friendly, and the drinks were good. We will definitely come back on a regular night during the week for girls night or date night!!

I really want to love Elephant East. The vibes are amazing, the food is delicious, but the service leaves a lot to be desired. I’ve been here twice in the last month and the service wasn’t great either time. Last night, the service was incredibly slow – took almost 20 minutes to get 2 drinks. When those drinks arrived, one of them was spilled on my companion due to how the restaurant is setup with minimal space between the tables. Dinner was great, although we ordered Thai green beans and received fried rice, so another issue there. When we received the check, it had dessert listed that we didn’t order.

I’ve been twice now with similar experiences. Not sure I’ll be making an effort to come back, even though the food is good. I was not comped for anything nor did I ask to be, but management should be aware of what’s happening on a nightly basis.

Excellent food with a great atmosphere! We started off with their take on a margarita which was fantastic and a great price at happy hour. We then got the shrimp bang bang shrimp which is a must get. We then lastly got the drunken noodles and a fried rice with beef. Everything was well made, service was friendly, and we enjoyed the atmosphere. I would definitely come back here!
