Lovely brunch spot with good food, tasty drinks and a club vibe. The new chef is on point! Lamb chops were great and pancakes are delicious. We also had crab cakes with potatoes that hit the spot. Love it!

I had the fried catfish ..fries ..Apple Crown Royal ..Cold Beer ..I got there late so I could only order from the late nite menu.. everything was good ..nice nite club atmosphere and decor ..very fun place … They have a daily lunch dinner & breakfast menu with nice variety of different dishes …OQ
Add on ..I went back there a week later to check out there breakfast ..they serve it from 9 am to 2:30 Mon to Friday ..I had the Elements Breakfast Plate with grits & potatoes & coffee which was very good .. OQ

Top notch from start to finish. First, I called to confirm they were open and serving brunch as it was snowing and pretty bad out. I was greeted warmly and told “see you soon!” Such a small thing that so many establishments don’t bother with. When we arrived, we were so impressed with the decor and vibe of the space. They had R&B music playing kinda loud, but they were jamming so I didn’t mind it at all. LOL Jaelynn (sp?) was our server and she was very nice and attentive.
Now, the food. The food! I had the salmon croquettes and potatoes and these were easily some of the best salmon croquettes I’ve had. They were more like a crab cake made from salmon because it was huge chunks of salmon, seasoned well and accented by a remoulade that perfectly complimented the taste. The potatoes were seasoned well and cooked to perfection. My husband had the NY strip steak with eggs, potatoes and an additional side of grits. He said it was all very good as well. I tasted the grits before he added sugar to them and agree that they were creamy and flavorful. We will DEFINITELY be back to this gem and are so happy to have it located right in our neighborhood.

Absolutely unacceptable experience at Elements in Bellwood. I called the day before and made a reservation to watch the Bears vs. LA Rams game, only to arrive and be told my name was not on the list. There was zero accountability for their mistake, and my family and I were left standing with nowhere to sit.
This situation was both frustrating and embarrassing, especially since I had invited my family out expecting a reserved table. While I do appreciate the effort that was made to try to accommodate us, the only option offered was a folding table and chairs placed far in the back near the restroom and kitchen area. That is not a reservation and is not appropriate seating for paying customers.
As an active member of Proviso Township, I expected much better from a local establishment. The lack of organization, professionalism, and basic customer service completely ruined what should have been an enjoyable game-day experience. I was really hoping to patronize this new business in the community but unfortunately that could not occur.
Update: Thank you for your response and for your willingness to make things right. I appreciate the acknowledgment of the situation and the steps you are taking to improve your reservation and communication processes.
I am open to accepting your offer and would welcome the opportunity to restore confidence in Elements. Please let me know the next steps and how best to coordinate a future visit.

The staff is very friendly, drinks are phenomenal especially their fruity drinks and if you’re not a big fan of alcohol i recommend their strawberry margaritas because the taste of alcohol is very minimal! Now the food, it was AMAZING!!! The food was definitely the star of the show. I definitely recommend to get the catfish and grits as well as their lamb chops and eggs, it was so delicious. The ambience of the restaurant itself is also great. I recommend this place for sure.

I ate here with family after hearing from word of mouth how amazing this place is. Not only is the design of the interior pleasing to the eyes, the service was immaculate and the chefs (Lemar and Courtney I’ve been told) did a fantastic job seasoning the food to perfection. My uncle is a picky eater from Mississippi, and he can say that the fried chicken wings he had here have been the best he’s had since leaving the South. I enjoyed the crab cakes and how intricate the flavors were with and without the sauce. The bathroom was also very clean and spacious. My family felt welcomed and we will be back. Our new favorite restaurant.

We tried Elements for black restaurant week.The food was just ok. A dj was on deck and apparently they were about to transition from the restaurant to the lounge for the night. Not the spot for date night….lets just say that.

Went to this beautiful decorated restaurant last weekend and throughly enjoyed myself! Me and a group of friends went for a paint and sip event and we all had a grand time! Service, food, decor..all splendid! Beautiful diner for a suburban restaurant! Will be back!

After reserving this place for a private event section on August 22 for event date September 13. The manager owner contacts my event planner on September 5th to inform that the restaurant is no longer available for a private event. Manger/owner lacks professionalism and business etiquette. My event planner was able to obtain a new location in the 11th hour. Via word of mouth from other nearby Venus and previous potential patrons Elements has had the exact situation we just experienced. I pray this business practice is corrected sooner than later because I don’t like to see new black owned business fail. The interior is beautiful!
