Food is great, maybe slightly pricey. Service is extremely lacking, the food is sit down restaurant quality with service that is fast food quality at best. The restaurant isn’t the cleanest, dirty buckets of water with gross rags sitting by the drink machines(you get your own drinks) which were grimy. The waitress came by several times with food for other tables asking if it was ours.

We came hoping for a nice dinner out and ended up disappointed. They seem to be understaffed and serve everything in to-go containers. As others have stated you aren’t really being served which I can understand and wasn’t a big deal to me. My salad, miso soup, and vegetable soba weren’t terrible but not really all that good either.

Awesome food at a very reasonable price. We arrived at the location Sunday afternoon and had our doubts about going in. The place is small and not very inviting from the outside. Windows were dark and had to look twice to confirm it was open as there was only one more car in the parking lot. I had to convince my wife to go in and look at the menu. We decided to try it as there are not that many options around and that’s when we were rewarded with an amazing dinner. Flavorful, fresh, delicious. Hibachi steak is amazing and the chicken with vegetables was very good as well. You don’t expect to find good sushi in a small town like Oneida, but theirs is excellent. Will go back if I’m in town.

I don’t know if tips are expected here, but I’ll give them as a measure of quality service. Running a cash register is not a service to me but for the restaurant selling the food. Here, you get your own drinks, condiments, and refills. Also, expect to pay high prices for mediocre food.

Ordered shrimp pad Thai with mixed vegetables got two shavings toothpick size of carrots and about four tiny tiny pieces of broccoli. Not like when Sophie and Vince owned it. Such a shame, has incredible potential to be great great great. The quality is going downhill in my opinion. Also, why are they still serving in Styrofoam to go containers with the cheapest white plastic forks in the entire industry.

Today I wanted some black pepper chicken with x jalapeno and the special made it for me! It was delicious. I also had a side of steak that was also on par! They always have the best food and service. My favorite place to treat myself!
