Come here at least once a week with my kids, always order a small plate of pasta and broccoli with chicken. On the menu it says “with chicken or shrimp” doesn’t include an add on price and never noticed one being charged before. Got charged 3 bucks today for added chicken. When I pointed out to the waitress that the meal comes with chicken or shrimp (per what the menu says) she said “that’s just how the menu is.” I do enjoy this place but make sure you ask about any additional charges that aren’t displayed but will show up on the bill, especially if trying to price out the check beforehand. Not sure her name, but the girl up front with blonde hair and tattoos is so sweet and makes going there enjoyable.

We celebrated a 70th birthday at Elegante tonight! The food was delicious and beautifully presented! The service was Exemplary….so kind, gracious, accommodating and happy! We were 14 in all and every single person loved the food and appreciated the professional service. The appetizers were amazing-fresh, delicious and plentiful! The main courses seemed to have been made with the best ingredients and love! Elegante is Excellent!

My daughters ordered penne ala vodka and when we tried it, it didn’t taste right. They called and asked if they could kindly get something else and the owner was questioning them saying things like, have you had it before (they have), “its not a bad batch we make new every day” etc. When they got to the restaurant the owner gave my one daughters something else, but my other didn’t want anything just a refund. He refused to give her a refund and said “there is nothing wrong with pasta”. Not once did he apologize and came off very passive aggressive trying to lecture them. They both have worked in customer service for over 4 years and know even if it isn’t true the “customer is always right”. I am very disappointed in the way they handled the situation and they will no longer be having our services. It wasn’t a big deal that the food didn’t taste right but its the principle of good customer service. We have never had a problem with them until today.

Good food, customization costs too much though, if this place was in my hometown, I’d still go. I get very tired fast with limited pizza around here, this place got awesome for Sicilian, but I can’t get same slice every day, old boring FAST.

Love supporting our local small businesses, and Elegante Pizzeria is no exception. The service is always great, the pizza is delicious, and the prices are very reasonable. My husband and I visit here frequently, as it is one of our favorite places to go in Honesdale for Italian food.

Food is good but please remember all parts of order and listen to customizations. When I order here I like the Italian sub, I always ask for the oil and vinegar on the side. You guys don’t ever give it to me. Please try to remember because it’s every single time.

Honestly, this used to be the best pizza in town easily. Whatever they did in the last year is beyond me, but I can tell you right now, it’s either the pizza chef or th corner cuts on cost.
Everything was wrong from the start. Called 20 minutes ahead, told me 20 minutes, got there at 35 and the pizza was still in the oven??
Get the pizza home, I live around he corner, an it wasn’t even what I ordered, but does that really matter? It was trashed. The pizza was so undercooked and the cheese oil was leaking in force. Doughy, soggy, and undercooked. Go across the street for better pizza made by a diner. It ain’t matching these current reviews. 5 stars are coming from old folks still living by tradition or friends of the owners.
And to the owners reply, yeah the review was a year ago, if the review was more recent, it would have a new date attached in the actual review to dispel the misunderstanding. I did not update the review as to review bomb, I updated spelling errors. But no worries, I’ll order another pizza soon and review that, I can almost be certain it’ll look like that again.

Food is good and not just the pizza. People are nice and the restaurant is clean. They haven’t forgotten or messed up a single thing in tens of orders.

BEST PIZZA in Honesdale. Owner is nice, staff is nice and the pizza is on point. PA is not an easy place to find traditional NJ pizza. They nailed it. Also if you buy 10 pies to go or delivered you get a free pie with coupons on the box. I was just there, traded in 20 coupons and got two free pies. As always delicious!!!!! Other spots on Main Street just don’t have good piazza period.

I’ve been cooking professionally for well over a decade. I’ve traveled the country to work in various restaurants as to gain as much experience as possible. WITH OUT A DOUBT best buff chicken pizza I ever had. Perfect sauce perfect cheese. Well priced. Honestly I couldn’t make it this good of I tried. Well done
