Nice vibe. We sat at the chefs counter which has a great view of the open kitchen. Seats at the chefs counter are very comfortable.
Service was friendly and food came out at a good pace.
I definitely recommend it if you’re near Mar Vista.
Flavorful but clean. Nothing too overbearing.
Black truffle Camembert for dessert – why not!
Would like to try everything on the menu. Extremely talented, experienced chef from some of NYC’s best French restaurants like Picholine and Le Circe
The fries are absolutely legendary — the chicken salt? Wow. We also really enjoyed the scallops and their signature chicken, plus the baguette. Delicious French food with no nonsense.
While the food is amazing, my favorite part about this restaurant is Benjamin (General Manager). The guy is warm, passionate, and full of energy. Each time, he’s gone out of his way to create a memorable dining experience for us, down to remembering our order and suggesting new items.
We’ll be back for Benjamin, and look forward to trying the new dishes available at Electric Bleu!
We adored the duck, but the chicken and pepper steak were going to diners all around us and looked incredible. Also, loved sitting at the bar and watching the action in the kitchen. The chef/owner even stopped by to see how we were enjoying our meal.
Huge plus that they have seasonal dishes. The tomato salad (one of their seasonal offferings) was getting rave reviews from diners on both sides and looked incredible (I don’t even like tomatoes but I want to try this dish!).
When we left we promptly made our next reservation. Can’t wait to try everything on their menu.
Also worth noting that their prices were on the mark. Absolutely recommend Electric Bleu!
The food was truly unique while being distinctly French with some Californian fusion and subtle Japanese influence woven in.
The patte- a surprising and refreshing take on a classic. Truly exciting on the palette, with a wonderful texture and stunning presentation.
The chicken- essentially a whole chicken served in Jus with golden potatoes. The skin was crispy and seasoned to perfection, the meat was tender, juicy, and succulent.
Bass in a carrot miso broth- what an exceptional dish. The flavors, the tenderness of the fish, the intricacy of the broth, just wow. Every bite was a culinary achievement with a symphony of flavors working harmoniously.
The scallop crudo- undeniably fresh. Slightly sweet scallops with thinly sliced radish in a citrus forward sauce. Could’ve very easily eaten several of these, alone.
The passion fruit tart- hands down my favorite passion fruit tart I’ve ever tasted. Perfectly balanced between sweet and tart with a smooth and creamy whipped texture.
We will absolutely be back again and again.
The food was amazing- fav is definitely the electric fries. I would come back just for those.
Our waitress was very nice and a great help with recommendations. I personally prefer cocktails (which they don’t have yet because they’re new) but hoping to come back when/if they get that.
Food was excellent. The roast chicken in particular was fabulous. Everything was well executed and satisfying.
Service was stellar. Attentive and friendly throughout the meal.
This is a great neighborhood spot that works for both special occasions and regular nights out. We’ll be back soon!
