The restaurant is clean and the customer service was well. The waiter was accommodating and the food was moderate from quality to price. They have a few televisions in the restaurant that you can view as you dine. The restaurant doesn’t offer liquor but welcomes byob.

Honestly. One of the new steaks I’ve had anywhere. Always get the New York Strip with Mash Potatoes and eating it makes me understand why some rich people eats steak everyday . And the amount they give you for the seafood platter was astounding!

Eleazar Steak House absolutely crushed it. I ordered the burger and it was straight up BOMB. Perfectly cooked, super juicy, packed with flavor, and you can tell they use quality beef. The bun was fresh, the toppings were on point, and every bite hit.
The vibe was great, service was friendly and fast, and everything came out hot and fresh. You can tell they actually care about the food they’re putting out.
If their burger is this good, I can only imagine how insane their steaks are. I’ll definitely be back

I came in late table for two first time I was served by Edgar. Food was very delicious. Restaurant was nice and clean. I had the filet mignon which was delicious. The pasta also tasted very nice and homemade portion sizes were amazing. I also had the garlic shrimp which was delicious and again portion size was amazing, clean restaurant, friendly atmosphere

Food was good, steaks were tender and cooked to right temperature. Had the cowboy and hanger steaks, good. For a steakhouse, it’s a limited steak menu. Pastas were not bad, a little too much sauce. Decent price. Decor has much to be desired. Street parking but we didn’t have any problems finding a spot.
Waiter asked for drinks but only brought water to two who answered even we said water for whole table.

This place has pretty damn good steak. The chef/owner was taking care of everything as he was a one man operation during the morning to noon time and boy did his food deliver. My cowboy cut was perfectly cooked and the Mac n cheese was rich and creamy. My mother in law’s Harrison burger and truffle fries according to her was absolutely delicious. Spinach dip was excellent. I’d come back in heartbeat and dine in next time.

WOW! I can’t express enough how EXCELLENT & DELICIOUS the food is in this quaint little steakhouse! I am completely blown away that this family owned and operated restaurant has been hiding from me in Harrison for so long now.
Eleazar is the perfect spot for a private getaway dinner that won’t break the bank, that is, unless you can’t help yourself to try all the amazing food on the menu! My Ribeye steak was cooked to absolute perfection; tender and juicy, with the perfect amount of seasoning and a wonderful homemade steak sauce. I haven’t had a steak this delicious in years. Needless to say, I will certainly be back to my new favorite steak house!!

The atmosphere was clean and the staff was very friendly. As for the food, it was REALLY good.
The steak (filet mignon) had a nice outer crust and was tender on the inside (we got ours medium).
The seafood pasta was truly amazing. For the price given, it surprised us (in a good way). There was a lot of seafood in the pasta with quite the variety (clams, mussels, and more).
We also got a burger (the Harrison burger). If you’re really hungry and want a big meaty burger, I recommend it.
Overall, the experience was fantastic!

I visited with my friends on a quiet Monday evening and was pleasantly surprised. I had the hanger steak was was huge and while I couldn’t finish all, i gave it my best shot. My friend had the rib eye which she thoroughly enjoyed.
If I’m ever in Newark again, I’ll be sure to visit.
