We loved El Verano. It was excellent. We sat at the bar (with Brooke Shields!) and we loved our server (long blond hair! I wish I remembered her name!). We had the short rib tacos, potatoes with chimichurri, and chicken enchiladas. All delicious. The cucumber margarita was a huge hit. Highly recommend this place.

Stumbled across El Verano during my stay in South Hampton & it was definitely the best restaurant of my trip while visiting the area. Food was amazing, customer service was outstanding. Restaurant has a great atmosphere! If your in the area a must visit. El Verano will become one of the favorites in the area for everyone.

What a refreshing addition to the Southampton village restaurant scene. Just had an impromptu lunch here with my husband and it really hit the spot after a day on the beach. Chips were still warm from the fryer, guacamole was one of the best we’ve had. Came with a delicious smoky hot sauce on the side. Hubby got chicken enchiladas, I got toro taquitos. Both were great. Highly recommend. We will be back.

So, I went there for an early dinner, the service is great, place is very pretty, food was good but it’s important to say it’s not Mexican food, just Mexican inspired (I am Mexican), but still the food was good, just if you’re craving some real Mexican food, you won’t find it here. I do recommend it though. Will definitely be going back.

The food was ok but VERY overpriced! I have been to less expensive restaurants and the food was WAY better! A little disappointed in how much this lunch is costing me but I guess welcome to the Hamptons!!! Don’t think I will come back or recommend this place even it is the only Mexican restaurant in Southampton.

The service here was horrible!! I ordered a quesadilla to go and said I was in a hurry and it seemed like the kitchen went intentionally slower than needed. People came in 10 minutes after me and received their food before I did.

I came with my kids here the other day. After we ordered one saw they had a fuzzy hair on their knife. It was gross and we had to get a new one which should have taken a minute but took three. When the food came I ordered a lobster burrito but they gave me a meat dish and I had to wait a while before the burrito finally came. Which I don’t blame them but it took longer than I thought it should. I’m only giving the third star because the service was nice and my Arnold Palmer was amazing.
