I honestly would give a 1 star rating, but I’m feeling gracious. The place just felt funky waking in. We got our food to go and was very displeased when I drove back to the job sit to find that the salsa was clearly watered down. It had no flavor and I couldn’t get it to stay on the chip. Then I’m 17 dollar chimichanga was super dry. My coworker ordered a steak chimichanga and they filled it with peppers and onions, which wasn’t stated on the menu. So he kindly asked them to remake it, with just the meat. They gave him a new one and it still had peppers and just less onions. Then as he was picking through it to get the peppers and onions out he found to little hairs.. I usually don’t put reviews on anything, but I just couldn’t let this one slide. Ridiculous!!! Then he found this stringy substance in his food. At first thought it was cheese, but come to find out it resembled a mop hair. Look here.

Last night service was great! But that was only because i was there for a meeting with my employer and no one else was there. Tonight, wasn’t a full house. I ordered the same meal chilli verdae. First time was great quality. Second night looked like diarrhea. Service was horrible. Took 30 min to get our order taken. Fishy restaurant

I came here the other day to get some good quality Mexican food. Not only was the food great I saw this hard working guy I think I heard them say his name was John? I love seeing hard working employees. He wasn’t our server but I saw him running around cleaning up all of the tables and passing out chips. Tell him to keep it up!!

Their chicken fajitas were seasoned really well, but the sour cream had a nasty texture.
The cheese quesadilla overflowed with cojita cheese. I really enjoyed the peach margarita too. However, the chips and salsa are sub-par. The day I was there, the salsa tasted almost like marinara.
I was sad to see so few tables filled with customers, but it was early afternoon. There are two Mexican restaurants in Ava, and this is definitely the one to go to.

The worst food i have ate in years, thd salsa taste like ketchup with spices added, the burritos loom like canned dog food inside for beef, the cheese is in huge clumps inside and looks spoiled and not even cooked. Thank goodness they serve on super hot plates so food gets somewhat cooked. Will never return.

Quite good food, special shout-out to the big seafood fajitas. And excellent service! We had a huge party of 16, and they accommodated us perfectly. Points off for the ridiculously huge TV running Fox News behind us. I don’t want to watch cable news while I eat.
