I dont leave a bad review lightly, but if you’re going to charge $19 for a burrito it better the best burrito ever. I figured with the high price, it was going to be fantastic, but it’s awful, it’s insulting. Taste is bland, barely any meat, mostly lettuce and tortilla. I’ve had better Mexican at almost any gas station in Texas and at 1/2 the price (I’m not a Texan, just stating facts). A lot of times I’d give a place a second chance but not this time, you can tell it wasn’t an off day, it’s just bad. I’m sitting here looking at a dinner with 3 bites missing and actually debating tossing it in the trash it’s so bad.

El Trio was amazing! The food was great and the service really friendly. I ordered the Arkansas Burrito thinking it would just be a big burrito, it’s HUGE! Even though I only ate 60% of it alone, I still thought it was worth every penny. Made for some bomb leftovers. The queso was really tasty! I highly recommend stopping by here if you’re in the area!

Quality food, generous portions, looks attractive on the plate. Superb friendly service. But it is Arkansas style, very mildly seasoned Mexican food. If jalapenos and chili powder aggravate your digestive process, El Trios is for you.
For me a big beef filled relleno with queso, an equally loaded beef taco, and a side of good refried beans. Check the picture. It looks good, doesn’t it? My wife had the taco salad. The salsas are mild, even the salsa picante. Not much help if you are looking for heat.

El Trio is by far the best Mexican restaurant I have ever went to! The atmosphere was awesome and so inviting walking into the restaurant! Employees and management were so friendly. Definitely could tell they cared about the customers and took pride in the restaurant/food.They came to our table several times making sure we didn’t need anything and to see how the food was. Very friendly people! I highly recommend this place for some really good authentic Mexican food! It will not disappoint! We will return everytime we want some good Mexican food! Great job!!!

Dropped by for a late lunch while rolling through in the RV. Large parking lot, plus tons of extra space in the farm store lot next door—super easy to park. Right off I-40, so it’s crazy convenient. Food was awesome, portions were large, and the service was top-notch. Definitely a solid spot to hit up!

WORST MEXICAN FOOD WE’VE EVER HAD!! (we’ve been Mexican food lovers for 40 yrs). Carne Asada was tough, dry, no flavor, obviously not marinaded. And about 20% fat & gristle. Just AWFUL. The place was a zoo. So busy, but we have no idea why after eating there!

Everyone was super friendly teaching Spanish to kids super nice to our child as well and to us. The level of customer service is not found very often anymore… And as for their MONSTEROUS burrito I got the Arkansas burrito (not on the menu btw). The picture doesn’t do it justice I can put back food and I could only put back 1/3 of it! Edit: July 2025 still amazing!! and the people are so happy!
