I had reservations at 7pm. Manager called me at 615 lying like I didn’t have reservations at 7. When I tell her to stop playing games and tell me what’s going on she then tell me her server accidentally gave my table away. She said I can still put y’all in front of the DJ booth but y’all won’t be able to dance. I told her I didn’t want to be on the dance floor or blocking the people who took my table. When I asked to speak to a manager she got really mad and start yelling at me. Then she said “I am the manager so do you want to or not?”
I don’t feel like they respect African Americans like we respect them when we go into this restaurant. I will never eat here again. The food isn’t all that nor are the drinks. It’s just was convenient spot. Y’all looking for real good food and drinks check out Lopez Grill on stage road. Y’all can thank me later!

Ask anybody who know me.know this is my go to spot.food and drinks use to be on point.but after me and my wife went last night.i think it’s time for use to let them go.we sit there 45 min with on salsa and chips now water or the drinks we ordered.i ordered frozen lime margarita and my wife a frozen tornado.after 15 mins she come back and say the only way we can get the tornado if we order a pitcher.so I said will it be frozen she she no the margarita machine not on yet and the food will be out in about 30 more mins.Wait Wait wht u know just don’t worry about us WE gone. they have new management and new staff not the same will never go back again..bye bye El toro loco guess I can retire my V.I.p card..

This is the worst restaurant that I have had to endure. The food was nasty which overhearing another customer complain about undercooked chicken I should have known. However ordering Mexican food from a Mexican restaurant you would think there would not have been an issue. There also was an altercation between two other customers and the two security guards on duty were no where to be found.
The only good menu item were the drinks!

Really good food. I had the fajitas. They were served the standard lava hot. I would have liked maybe a 4th tortilla. The highlight was the chips and salsa. The chips were served hot and crunchy but the salsa. It actually had spicy heat. It had a great consistency and delightfully hot.
They charge an 18% gratuity automatically. I hate this. Just raise you prices 18% and abolish tipping. It is a terrible system for paying people anyway.

Oh good, you mentioned the dip…
Let’s be clear—free, no charge, whatever—I asked for the cheese dip I paid for. It’s right there on my receipt. I ordered it separately while paying because the food had minimal cheese and I was still hopeful the meal could be salvaged.
The waitress misunderstood and assumed I was paying for my sister (someone with a $100+ tab, by the way). She didn’t own up to it, and the dismissive attitude when I came back was unacceptable. And to top it off—speaking Spanish about me right in front of me? Completely unprofessional.
Honestly, with how mid the food was, the customer service should’ve at least been on point. No worries though, as I said—I won’t be back. Just wanted to share my experience.

I visit this place often during lunch hours. Service is alway great and fast. I’m assuming you have to ask for the drink special when ordering bc I was charged full price. Overall a nice place to come. They do have a shaded patio, perfect for the springtime.

We waited 50 minutes for drinks from the bar, an hour for our food, food was served cold, and was not made correctly. I do not recommend coming here unless you have all the time in the world and willing to wait all night for drinks and food.

This place had to be one of the worst experiences I have had at a restaurant.. None of our food came out together it was only 3 of us, it was staggered for some odd reason.. and the food that came out last look like it sat under a warmer so long the top was burnt.
The waitress was useless and couldn’t comprehend the problem. They offered no resolution.. basically a shoulder shrug.
Then we get the bill and they add 18% for a party of three.. I have never seen such a thing especially at a place with such crappy service. How about you pay your staff, train your staff and cook good food. maybe then you would not have to force people to TIP… something that is awarded when someone does their job correctly. Not a forced fee on someone.
Get out of here with this forced tip crap…

WOW.. I need to read these review responses closer before picking a place to eat.. The gall of these responses is amazing.. Telling someone to check the tip policy of every restaurant you visit?!?! WOW
How about not being a shady greedy business. No reputable place charges “Gratuity” on a single or small group.. So this is not something a normal person would expect walking in to a restaurant. I doubt this place will be around much longer based on the unfriendly responses, bad services and poor business practices. And the food isn’t even close to good enough to make up for any of those short comings.

A little taste of something further south; I been to this establishment before some years back and it remains consistent in its service and friendliness of the staff. The server was vested in balancing his time between the large group we had and several other tables. One tiny little diner caught everyone’s attention as she cheerfully looked around and baby-talked across the room to us when some at the table drew her attention. She had rose colored chubby cheeks and a beautiful smile. Seeing those doll eyes light up as she peeked around and giggled at the different sounds filtering from our table. It was an enjoyable experience to see her while catching up with old acquaintances. Our server did a great job managing the group, and going from the three other tables as well as making his way between the two areas. The food was good and it’s accessible from a major interstate.
