This was my first visit here. I ordered my usual which is the Fajitas with chicken ,
steak , and shrimp .
The default name is Fajitas Texanas or in this case whatever the restaurant name is then add the word Fajitas. LOL!

Good overall experience.
Chips were a little thick borderline stale? The salsa came with a bowl and a glass decanter so you could refill as needed. This is the way I wish all Mexican restaurants would operate , but in this day and age it’s a welcomed treat regardless.

I had asked for some roasted Jalapenos instead of or in lieu of the tortillas. But they still charged me a la carte with out asking me. Not a big deal it was like a buck.
Side plate had sour cream , lettuce, Gaucamole and what might be considered pico de gallo but such a tiny portion I was not able to verify.
Nice portion of rice and they did a small ceramic bowl of like a bean puree. Complete with spoon and covered in .

Main skillet came out and yes the 3 proteins were there along with the Jalapenos I requested.
But it was only after an initial inspection that I could confirm as everything was covered in cheese !

My server was very helpful and efficient and saw that I needed a refill on the chips and salsa etc..

The prices were great and a couple dollars less than what I thought it would be actually.
It was a nice surprise.
I am including a picture of my bill for reference.

The food was delicious, salsa had some spice to it which is good. Service was great always checking on you. The atmosphere was okay the restaurant could use better lights especially in the booths.

I’ve never been disappointed with this place. It’s not the bestest Mexican spot in town, but it’s consistently good food and service. Also very reasonably priced and capable of seating large parties.

Amazing food makes up for slow weekday service (8pm on Monday).

The salsa and chips for the table featured a mild salsa, essentially not spicy, which I enjoyed. I also ordered the El Toro Fajita which came hot on a cast iron skillet. Delicious!

I genuinely ❤️ this place. I would usually never give a sub par review. First time for everything. It was Cinco de Mayo. Very busy. Slim menu choices. My husband’s plate was skimpy to say the least. What I normally order Nachos Carbon was not on the special menu. However, our waiter said he could make it happen. He did and it wasn’t as usual. Usually feeds 2 easily. Not Friday night. The only meal that was satisfying was my granddaughter’s Burrito Loco. Very disappointed. Now the Sangria Margarita didn’t disappoint. Our waiter was not very attentive and I’m sure that was due to the busyness of the place. Makes me think twice about returning as I drive from Indianapolis. I forgot to take pics of the others meals. The name changed to The Mexican Restaurant and it’s on Green St not Main St.

Great little place nestled away in small town USA. We were here with a group of women and our server was awesome! He dealt with all of our female ways with finesse!
Food was hot and good. And all (25)served at the same time. Which is something of a feat for the cooks!
Prices are competitive if not just a lil cheaper than others in the area. I would eat here again for sure!

We come to this place quite often. We live rather close by and usually have great service. This time they messed up our order and I drove back they messed it up again and had to remake it. Then made it seem like it was my fault. It was a simple PLAIN burrito. I also ordered flan and they gave me one that seems to be spoiled, never asked for chocolate, the smell was not good and it was hard. I called up to speak to manager and he was very rude. We will not be back.

Pretty decent! The flavors are authentic-ish. The guac had more flavor that a lot of places. The Habanero salsa is so delicious. Chips were served warm and crispy. The restaurant itself is a great size. You can fit small or large parties. Staff was friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. It’s pretty cold in there so bring a sweater if you’re a wimp like me. Meals are priced pretty reasonable. Most things during dinner time cost about $8-$10. My plate was huge and the kids plates were just enough for $5. All in all, it’s a great place to go for a bite to eat when you’re craving Mexican food!
