I ordered the chicken enchiladas, the sauce seemed like it was out of a can. I like the corn cake that was added to the plate, the rice and beans were good too. My husband ordered the fajitas, he said the shrimp tasted like Chinese food style shrimp. My kids got a burger and pizza, they enjoyed their food. I love the view from here. Next time I will order something else. The jalapeño cucumber margarita is good. The service was good too. Overall I recommend you going, but don’t order the enchiladas.

If you are like me, you are asking yourself.. “are the carnitas worth it here?” I’m here to tell you that … it is!!! The carnitas tacos are full of flavor. El Torito is not lying when they say that it’s slowed cooked in spices and flavors! I also had the tortilla soup and it had a home style taste to it. The server ADAMARIS (superstar) was super fast and attentive. What also attracted me to this place is the booth seating facing the ocean. Beautiful views with delicious tacos. What else do you want in life?!?!

I went there for my cousin’s birthday. We had a big group. I made it on time for happy hour, which is a plus for me. I didn’t know their happy hour ends at 9, but you have to go to the bar to get the happy hour menu. I ordered create your combo; chicken enchiladas, chile relleno with rice and beans, and that small corn cornbread, or whatever that is. Our waitress was wonderful, she did an excellent job serving us.

Overall, El Torito has a very traditional Mexican vibe, and the view is absolutely beautiful. The food was really good, and the cocktails were just as enjoyable.
The service was great—we went on Sunday, 1/25, and had a very pleasant experience with the staff.
A few cons worth noting: there isn’t an elevator, so we had to carry our stroller up the stairs, which was a bit challenging. The large booth seating could definitely use an update—the cushions were worn, clumpy, and had noticeable dips. The bathroom also felt outdated.
That said, none of these things were deal-breakers. Overall, it was a nice experience, and I would definitely come back.

Its been a while since we’ve eaten here, but so glad we made it in for lunch. The wait was not long. We had a nice big table for our family of 6, with a great view of the Ocean. Our server and the service was great! For 6 people the price for food and a few drinks was too good to be true. We will definitely be back!

Stunning views with huge windows overlooking the beach & ocean. Complimentary salsa & chips which is a nice welcome. I had a salad & added on chicken. Good food but not wow. Tried a Mojito flight which was great value & fun to try the different flavors. They have a good happy but was for bar area only and I wanted to sit and enjoy those views! Was pretty quiet but it was during the week before 5 so hopefully it’s busier later. Definitely will return again.
