Best Mexican food in town. Never had an issue with incorrectly cooked food or errors in our orders. I love the chorri pollo, it’s delicious! The rice is great and the salsa is one of the best I’ve had. The portions are pretty big too. Everybody working there is so nice, we’ve been going so long/often that we know basically every server! They do military discount as well. The only bad thing is the seating. A lot of booth cushions are lumpy or just messed up and feel weird to sit on, so you might have to wiggle around to find a good spot. Definitely recommend if you want good Mexican food in Valdosta!

When the first thing you smell when you walk into Mexican restaurant is Fabuloso, you know it will be good! The Tex-Mex food here is fresh, well seasoned, and cooked to perfection. The tortillas are hand made. The corn tortillas are quite honest some of the best I have ever had. The flour tortillas are a little thin, but very good.
Happy hour is 2 for 1. The chips and salsa are pretty standard, but the chips do arrive warm.
They have Tres Leches cake that really good! I was told it is a new item, so the keep the cake frozen until it is ordered and then finish it will milk before serving. They are still working on the technique to make sure it is completely thawed before serving, but it didn’t hurt my feelings at all. I am not sure how many people in South Georgia are familiar with Tres Leches, but you need to try it!
Overall, it is our favorite Tex-Mex restaurant in Valdosta!

I recently visited El Toro Mexican Restaurant at 3260 N Valdosta Rd, in Valdosta, GA. My son, daughter in law, and myself visited this restaurant and when we entered the premises was greeted promptly and seated in a booth that we requested. Our waiter took out drink and food order and were served timely. The food was delicious and is worth a visit.

Mexican cuisine has become an indispensable part of American food culture. Many Americans enjoy trying this fresh, delicious and diverse cuisine, and I am one of them. My favorites include tortilla chips, fried corn tortillas, corn rolls, Mexican pies, grilled meat, chicken rolls, and more. Additionally, I love spicy food, and the spiciness level at this restaurant is just right. I highly recommend everyone to come and try it.

Stopped here on our way back to Nashville, our waiter was attentive. Our food was good and the restaurant decor was nice. The horchata drink was really good as well, I would recommend this restaurant if your traveling and tired of the regular fast food places.

Great Mexican restaurant!! The menu has a great assortment and includes a kids menu. If you have a picky eater they have some American flavor on the menu also. We ordered the guacamole dip with the cut up tomatoes and onions while waiting. They have coke products and a stocked bar which you can choose to sit at. I ordered the fajitas which proved to be more than I could eat. The other dish was a number 13 combo. He had it 5 minutes after I took the picture. Enjoy!!

Music is kinda loud and the people tend to be louder but the food is worth it. It’s a nice lunch spot, while everyone swarms for dinner takeout is quick.

I have been going to El Toreo for years. I love the atmosphere and great food. On Thursday July 31 I and my sister arrived around 1:00 p.m. it wasn’t that busy. We were seated. We waited approximately 20 minutes and nobody had waited on us. Finally waitress Kassie saved the day and wanted to know if we had been waited on and we said no. Cassie was very apologetic and kept saying she was so sorry. I don’t think she was assigned to our table but she truly was an angel and took good care of us and the food was excellent. I would have given a 5 but we waited for 20 minutes before we were waited on.
