Told to sit anywhere we wanted then was asked to move randomly. Was given 2 different menus. Ordered Pretzel bites and received a deep-fried small burnt pretzel. Ordered chicken tenders and got these small chicken bites with 90% fries and the honey mustard wasn’t even honey mustard somehow. (Had to ask for ketchup) Ordered the pulled pork bbq and it was completely different than what it used to be and also complete garbage now. Was asked if we wanted dessert and then the waitress said never mind to us as if she forgot she wasn’t supposed to offer. (Not that we would have said yes anyways at that point) Idk what happened to this place but not going there to eat ever again. Place is only good for alcohol nowadays. Don’t bother with any food here. It’s a total ripoff. They’re lucky I paid.

Not bad, not awesome.
There is plenty of parking, easy and easy out. For anyone with assisted mobility restrictions, the parking is on one level and there is nice outdoor seating that is easy to “wheel” right into.
The wait staff is friendly and I was greeted right away.
The food was so so.
There are traditional Irish food selections on the menu.
The prices are comparable to the location.

Nice stop for lunch on the way to DC. Fun little place with local vibes. Quiet when we were there but could see it livening up when there is music. Had the chicken pot pie and husband had The New Yorker… both good… would say 4-4.5/5. Sweet potatoe tots a fun delicious surprise. Food choice if you like adventuring into local mom and pops vs chain restaurants.

Not bad…
We came in on what seemed to be a pretty slow night. The waitress was very friendly and helpful. However, everything took forever to come out, including our beers. Just seemed weird for a not-busy place. The food was good, but needed to be hotter. Besides that, it was very good. Loved the green beans! The burger was very good, our son devoured it!
We wouldn’t not come back, but not in a rush to do so…

We had a delicious lunch. The fish and chips were served piping hot. The fish was very crisp and crunchy. The french fries were hand cut and not greasy at all. The wait staff were super pleasant and attentive.

The food was really good and well seasoned, also a pretty reasonable price. The staff were welcoming and the atmosphere was very cozy. They play live open mic music on Monday it was pretty cool

This place is an incredible lunch spot. Old fashioned style, homey atmosphere with good food. Service has a simple mindset: show respect, get respect. The staff was legitimately busting their butt during a lunch rush, but I never felt like I was being ignored. Decent beer selection and beautiful old building. Definitely one of my new stops during my drive…

I’ve dined at Colonial Tavern a few times and never had a bad experience. The staff has always been friendly and attentive and the food has always been good. There’s always a full calendar of live music opportunities as well. The pot roast is sensational.

Food was awesome, and great service. Very friendly staff. There were some issues with the tap for beer, but ultimately not a big deal because they offered a different beer. The food was so good the tap issue didn’t matter at all!

We had been craving good Irish fare and found it here. Both the servers were fantastic. Friendly and took care of everything we asked. Mmmm, Harp.
We got there before the crowd and sat outside. Good variety on the menu and on tap.
Drove past it once looking for it. Keep an eye out. Easy to miss. If it’s nice out, sit outside.
