Amazing spot! The tortilla soup is the BEST in town. Our waiter was outstanding, the place is very clean with tons of parking. I recommend the mini flautas as an appetizer and you can’t go wrong with anything on the menu.

We tried the comida corrida, which is a good deal at $10. It includes your choice of soup, tea, your meal, and dessert plus chips and salsa. We had the fish plate. The cook forgot to add salt to our food, so it was very bland. The rice pudding would have been much better if it had been warm, but it was ice cold. The tortilla soup is one of the tastiest I’ve had. The fish soup was pretty good, too.

We were there a week ago, our waitress was slow, she would never come see if we needed something, she would focus on cleaning the tables, than the customers, the reason we like going to Texano is for the cup of tortilla soup you get before your meal, its delicious but we didn’t get one ☹️ she would only give it to certain tables, not all of them, not sure why? The hamburger wasn’t the good, I’m sorry I like yellow cheese rather than white, not a fan of the fries either. We might go back for breakfast . . The burritos are really good. #missingmytortillasoup ☹️

Our waitress was really great. We were greeted as soon as we walked in. I tried the huevos rancheros (you can choose either chilaquiles or chicharrón for your side) I had the chilaquiles. It comes with refried beans and hash browns. You get a cup of very delicious oatmeal with cinnamon before your dish. The chilaquiles were cold and lacked flavor, sadly the huevos rancheros did too. The beans and hashbrowns were good though. The limonada isn’t fresh, it is made from powder. I might return to try the parrillada or birria tacos.

When my hubby and I were coming up to the restaurant, one of the employees was helping an elderly patron come out of the restaurant; which really set the tone for the kind of establishment we were coming into. Our server was Victor, who was extremely professional and went above and beyond! Very kind, gave a lot of attention to detail when handling food, drinks and our carry out! My husband got a beer and he asked if he wanted him to serve him and if so, if he wanted a head on the beer, or if he preferred it still! The hospitality was very reminiscent to some of the hospitality and professionalism I’ve received in restaurants in Juarez so if that is something familiar and welcoming to you, you will love this place! The atmosphere was lively, and family friendly! The chef who made our food has really good sazón as our food was soooo good! We ordered a parrillada of carnitas for 2, which could definitely serve up to 4 if I’m being honest. The portions were big and plentiful! Before our meal we were also served chips and salsa and a tortilla soup- which was sooo good, it had cheese mixed into it and was rich in flavor Absolutely loved my experience here and definitely recommend!!

Worst Mexican restaurant I’ve been to by far. If you want some uncooked hard Harmony in your menudo this is the place to go to. Also forget about getting a refund if you didn’t enjoy the order you got cause there so broke and already so out of business they need the money more than u do to be able to give refunds. If I could rate this place and there food and there customer service a 0 I would.

ABSOLUTE WORST SERVICE OF MY LIFE! I waited over 30 minutes after I was informed that my take out was ready before it was actually ready. The staff was rude from the moment I walked thru the doors. When I did finally get my food, I informed the owner (who’s name I was told was Liz, but she ran away and hid in the back before I could get a picture of her so I only got one of one of the rude employees but she wouldn’t give me her name), and Liz’s exact response to me after speaking maybe 2 sentences to her when I told informed her that I would never be back to this establishment was “good, then I never have to see your face again”. The one I did get a picture of threatened to call the police on me after the owner ran away, but luckily I made the order thru a 3rd party so because of their incompetence and complete unprofessionalism I was refunded completely and this horrid business got exactly zero of my money. DO NOT RECOMMEND! GO SOMEWHERE THAT ACTUALLY CARES ABOUT THEIR CUSTOMERS!
