Giving this place a solid four because I would go there again. There are more options that I would like to try. But it was not my favorite. We did a takeout order. And they were quick and efficient. We got the chicken tacos, the pork tacos, the steak tacos , and even their bowl. We also ordered two things of queso. And order their sweet plantains. All the food was solid. I think you will be satisfied when you go there. I liked my bowl with steak. I could’ve used a little bit more heat, but overall I would get it again. The rest of my party devoured their tacos instead, how phenomenal they were. I would say that their rice and beans are great too. I’m a sucker for a good plantain too.

We went to Tesoro as a family to celebrate my brother’s new house in the area. The food was excellent overall! The steak and chicken tacos were flavorful, and the elote and guacamole dip were delicious. However, the fish tacos were disappointing. The mahi-mahi needed marination for more flavor, as the coleslaw shouldn’t be the only source of taste. Service was mixed; the order taker was rude, but the food server was great. Cleanliness was a concern due to open chip containers near cleaning supplies. Despite the food’s quality, the poor service and hygiene issues detracted from our celebration.

We’ve been to El tosoro the outside one a few times. I like this inside space better. Large brewery feel, nice lil wide open vide. Lounge seating and tables. The nice restroom was a good walk away. Was starting to feel unsafe alone in the quiet distance lol. Looks like a shared restroom. They bring ur food to you and you drop your plates off near the trash are. Easy clear process. Not very heavy food, enough to cure the hunger pains. The burrito was heavy rice but was tasty. Other items with cheese or pork, I stay away from. The chicken tamales are made differently here with a spicy topping. A bit too spicy. Cool idea tho. It came with cheese in which the menu doesn’t suggest-they remade it.

Love the big spacious eating area both indoor and outdoor. Love that it’s right on the Beltline. Drinks (Summer something) was tasty. The Mahi Mahi and shrimp tacos were excellent. The pork one was too salty for me mixed with the hot. I enjoyed the blue taco shells as well. Annoying fact: too many flies fighting me for my food. I didn’t like that part at all! Needs some fly traps are something.

Came in on a Sunday to see the band play loved them they were amazing, I ordered a virgin drink suppose had been a mint mojito but just tasted like a regular drink the bartender didn’t make it right I know there’s not alcohol but I didn’t even obtain mint leaf with my drink which gives it that kick. Overall I would definitely come back great place to enjoy they had games you could mix and mingle. I’m definitely coming back

I had a taste for some delicious nachos, and when I tell you they understood the assignment Best nachos I’ve had in a long time. The chip texture, the ratio of ingredients to chips, the way it was layered, the flavor for everything, ALL PERFECT!! I ate 3/4 of it before I pulled out off the parking lot that’s what the picture shows, sorry I started eating right away, and the sunset gave the pic a tiny…Anyway, try it for yourself!

El Tesoro is a great spot for a quick meal. Margaritas are on point and the overall space is so cool. If you go to the restrooms, will pass some spots for a great picture. Highly recommend!

We had our wedding here, and I wanted to rave about the catering. Not only was the food abundant and delicious, they worked with us to create off-menu items. They even prepared separate dishes without a speck of gluten for my celiac guests. Cannot recommend them highly enough.

I ordered a vegetarian black bean burrito and got one with meat in it. The staff were kind and I’m sure would have remade the burrito if I had asked, but I was in a rush so I picked out the chunks of meat as I ate on the gorgeous outdoor patio. In my position, a small helping of steak crammed at one end of the burrito would have been ideal, yet I found a very significant portion evenly distributed throughout the burrito. Again, this was an inconvenience to me, but I could not help but empathize with those among us who eat meat and be impressed by El Tesoro’s steak burrito construction. I’ve attached a picture of the steak that I picked out of the burrito, with the pink 32 ounce Nalgene water bottle that I took from my climbing gym’s lost and found bucket, washed, and filled at one of the free water coolers by El Tesoro’s entrance for reference.
06/06/25: I’ve decided to make this a longitudinal study. I returned to El Tes one time between my original review and this visit. I’ve ordered the same thing each time: a black bean burrito with lettuce. My only qualm with last visit is that it was wrapped sort of loose, but overall still a really wonderful burrito. 8.5/10, as far as black bean burritos with lettuce go. Today, we very nearly hit perfection. The tortilla was a nice balance of pliable, soft, and crispy. The medium hot sauce – a major upgrade to the experience – was wonderfully refreshing and flavorful, and I enjoyed that there were visible bits of cilantro in it. The guys sitting behind me were talking about new research into the male hormone cycle, while a pack of business casual clad fintech bros somehow made it off the set of a Tim Robinson sketch to Lime Scooter across the patio in front of me. This is exactly what I’m looking for when I come to the Beltline. My only, ONLY issue was that the rice was a little too salty. 9.5/10.

We LOVE el Tesoro but always order from the Edgewood location. We ordered tonight from the West End location and I think the photos speak for themselves…. Burnt burrito and half of a hard avocado in the guacamole
