Great food and service. Servers are very friendly, helpful and quick. Carnitas dinner and fajitas are delicious. The choose 2 or 3 items is always good! We like their tacos, tamales and Chile relleno. Their chips are warm and crunchy great with their queso and salsa. Margaritas are average but delicious. We’ve been there MANY times and will continue to enjoy their food and service for many more visits!

The food was good quality and would have given 5 stars, but it just came up a bit short. The service however was excellent and better than we hoped for. My wife’s food was great. Price was pretty high, portions were huge and way more than a normal person would eat. Presentation was also Great.

Great service, beautiful atmosphere. Food made my stomach ache for 2 days. I love Mexican food. One of my favorite dishes is the Chori Pollo. A simple dish, but so delicious. However, the chorizo they used literally had balls of fat in it that I had to pull out of my mouth while eating. By the 4th one, I was done. It is supposed to come with queso Blanco but I feel like it was a slice of cheese that was melted.
My mom had the Tilapia Pablano and there was so much sauce, one couldn’t even tell there was fish somewhere in the sauce. The taco salad my dad had was very tiny and didn’t appear to have much to it.
The service is top notch, the atmosphere is beautiful, but the food is “ok.”

I had a small chicken and cheese quesadilla because I wasn’t really hungry. The size was perfect and tasted great! I like how the staff put on the Viking’s game on a Sunday so you can tell that they are thinking about the customer when it comes to the atmosphere. Our food came out fast and the server was great. I like how the staff are Mexicans and that they are bringing authentic Mexican food here. Overall, we had a good experience here!

El Tequila Mexican Restaurant is one of my go-to lunch spots, especially when I’m meeting my sister. The food is consistently great, the service is excellent, and we’re always able to get in and out with time to spare on our lunch break; which is huge. Everything is fresh and flavorful, and the staff is friendly and efficient. Highly recommend! Pedro’s tacos are my absolute favorite.

The restaurant is spacious, and the service was very good. We arrived for a mid afternoon meal so it was not very busy. I agree with others that the food here is a bit expensive. One lengua (street) taco is over $5 and the two I had were very skimpy on cilantro. No rice or beans were included. The hubby had supreme enchiladas. He was disappointed in the flavor of the red sauce. I was too. Perhaps it was the Tex Mex recipe. We are used to authentic Mexican.
Again, there were no beans or rice on the side. There was a huge pouring of sour cream on top of the enchiladas though. If we return, we shoot for lunch when the prices are better.

We’ve been in El Tequila a few times and have yet to be disappointed. The food is excellent, the service is wonderful and at the end of the night you can even get a free cab ride (up to $15), if needed. We will definitely go again when we’re in the neighborhood. Thx to the bartender, Kylee, and the rest of the staff!
