Had heard good things about these restaurants so decided to get one a try. We were seated quickly and the wait staff was very friendly . Our drinks were brought in a timely manner and our food wasn’t very long in getting to us either. Our waiter made sure to keep us supplied with fresh chips and salsa and kept our drinks full. The food was cooked good with a good flavor and we all had plenty to eat. I will definitely be looking forward to my next chance to eat at one of these.

We went at 4:30 on a Sunday and it wasn’t busy at all, though when we left at 5:15 it was getting busy. We were greeted and seated immediately, and our drink order was taken as soon as we were seated. Then they brought complimentary WARM chips with salsa. The restaurant was a comfortable temperature on a chilly, cloudy day.
We each ordered from the a la carte menu and the portions were great and tasty. Very good value. Wonderful how the food was served hot out of the oven.
Looks like the outdoor patio would be nice in warm weather.

My server was very friendly and helpful. But it seemed like the manager took over. He was not that welcoming. I mentioned to my waiter I was gonna go to the bathroom, and the manager that took over made it a point to make me feel uncomfortable that I had taken long. I got the shrimp cocktail the flavor of the sauce was really good. The shrimp was just OK. I had no flavor. But it was a lot of shrimp medium sized. That same manager that took over asked me if I needed anything and then when I asked him for stuff later on he took forever to come back,and made a big deal about it with his face. I don’t know if it was he didn’t like me or he was just in a mood. The other manager that cashed me out also seemed to be not too welcoming.

El tapatío. I don’t know if I was just hungry but the food was ok. Nothing that wowed me. The restaurant was very clean, welcoming and good decor. The waiter and staff are friendly and are always checking on you. ( good job ) I wish they had more selection of aguas frescas. All in all not the worst I’ve had.

The food was excellent, but the service not so much. Had to ask multiple times for refills on drinks, chips, and salsa. The waitress never returned after the food was delivered, except to drop off the bill.

Stopped to eat dinner at El Tapatio on our way to Norman. We were not impressed. Everything was very bland. The salsa and guacamole had no flavor. My chicken salad was terrible. There was hardly any lettuce, and the lettuce and tomatoes were not fresh. They brought out a packet of ranch dressing like you get at McDonald’s…yuck! My husband had the chimichanga. The chicken was so dry you could hardly swallow. We never had our drinks refilled either. My husband finally finished off my Diet Coke, which he hates, because he couldn’t get a refill. I definitely don’t recommend!!!
