This is our new favorite! Been twice in the last 2 weeks and the waiter remembered everything o had from the time before. Very attentive great service, delicious food. The dining room is very bright so the bar is a better seating choice if the the overhead lights are too much.

Perfect way to have a taco Tuesday. The staff was genuinely friendly and a real pleasure to deal with. Had a nice Reposado with my shrimp ceviche. Love sitting on the patio for a beautiful summer day

El Tapatio is my favorite Mexican restaurant in Snohomish. They have an extensive menu with classics and some special dishes. The depth of flavor stands out in the food here. I enjoyed the enchiladas de jaiba: flour tortillas filled and rolled with dungeness crabmeat, celery, onions, and spices, topped with a tangy tomatillo sauce. Delicious! Others had the chicken quesadillas and street tacos with carne asada. The tortilla chips were served with a mild salsa. The housemade green and red sauces enhanced the flavor of the dishes and added heat. My friends had palomas, margaritas, and berry mojitos; I had a michelada. The staff were friendly and attentive. You can’t go wrong with El Tapatio!

We were starving after a 30 mile bike ride on the Centennial trail. Thankfully, I found this restaurant just 3 minutes away from the trail head.
We ordered a Burrito tapatío and our waiter (forgot to ask his name) recommended the chiles rellenos, so we ordered 2 and a side of Mexican rice.

It was nice to sit outside, the area is spacious in and also out. We got complimentary chips and salsa, pretty good and then our food.

The burrito was enormous, baby size, no joke. And the chiles were just regular size.
We both loved the Chile rellenos the most! So good, especially paired with the rice!

After that we decided to check the dessert. We wanted churros. We were told they were filled with nutella or jam so we decided to pass, we wanted the simple cinnamon churro.

Our waiter left to get our check, or so we thought, it was taking a while so I got up to pay but oh surprise!! He came up with a beautiful plate of freshly made churros!!

That’s Top-notch service !

Thank you!!!! So good.

Not only did the interior get a refresh but the recipes or cooks or both are incredible now! Delicious authentic seasonings and fresh ingredients. This is our go-to place now. The service is excellent and bartenders serve a fair pour.

We tried this place for the first time. It’s a cute and quaint spot, and we’re loving the outdoor atmosphere. The weather was perfect with a sunny day and a nice breeze. The service was good, and the food I had was okay. I ordered the Ensalada De Camarónes (served on a half flour shell) and expected the prawns to be more flavorful. It’s probably my fault for picking this dish, as there are likely other more flavorful options on the menu. However, I wasn’t disappointed. The salad was fresh and the salsa I added was a nice touch.

Very nice! Friendly laid back service, good food, decent price.
… For the Covid minded, #1- Giant sign on front door asking you not to enter IF you’ve felt unwell or sick in the last 48hrs. #2 – Hand Sanitizer & paper towels, right beside the door, ready for use by dine-in customers.
…. In general: the bright & clean establishment offers Take Out & Delivery options. Also included is a NEAT feature to scan a barcode & get their FULL menu on your phone!! This is something I’ve not seen offered before, but a super cool idea/feature! No more remembering “to go” menus or long Google hunts trying to find an online menu… Nope, just scan & go! Awesome

The salsa that comes with the complementary chips was as close to perfect as I’ve ever had. I had some ribs which were really good. The maxi grande margarita was very tasty and strong. The staff were friendly and the dining area was very clean with tables reserved for Covid separation. I’d love to come back and try something new sometime soon.

I moved to Snohomish last year and have not loved the Mexican spots I’ve tried so far. El Tapatio is the first one I would consider coming back to. Didn’t love the rice but overall decent food. Service was great!
