⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ – A Hidden Gem for Authentic Mexican Cuisine in Portugal
We were pleasantly surprised to find such an authentic Mexican restaurant here in Portugal. I started with a classic margarita—perfectly done with a Taheen rim that added just the right kick. If you’re particular about your margaritas, this one will not disappoint.
We tried the chimichanga, which had a unique twist. Instead of the beans and cheese layered on top like we often see in the States, the black beans and cheese were tucked inside—and it worked beautifully. The flavors were rich, balanced, and full of that familiar comfort you expect from Mexican food done right.
The pico de gallo was fresh and full of flavor, the guacamole was creamy and seasoned perfectly, and the cilantro salad tied everything together. As Americans in Portugal searching for authentic Mexican taste, this spot truly delivers.
A genuine hidden gem—five stars all around. Highly recommended.
Also they stay open late!!

A decent Mexican restaurant that is not worth the money they charge. The drinks are good but overpriced. As for the starters, the chips were good, but the “pico de gallo” was only onions, tomatoes, and salsa — nothing special. The main dishes were disappointing; we ordered BBQ ribs that were super dry inside, and the other dish was just a wrap with chicken and cheese.

My go to place in the area.
My favourite are the amazing prawn fajitas, tasty and with just the right proportions in everything. It comes with lots of very fresh prawns, a side serving of three sauces to choose from, and 4 little dishes to top of the fajitas with.
The nacho starter is another thing we regularly get. You can tell it is lovingly crafted when every single nacho has cheese and sauce coverage, with generous side servings of guacamole and sour cream.
The staff are very friendly and attentive. Thank you Raman!
We always come back again and again, and it’s magnificent every time.
Highly recommended!

Checked out this place on a whim while staying at a hotel around the corner, and I’m so glad I did instead of settling for the limited and overpriced options at my hotel. I ordered guacamole to start and chicken enchiladas with a side of bean puree (pureed black beans) for my entree. The guacamole was fresh and on point, and the entree was perfectly prepared and just the right size to be filling without feeling too full when I was done. The small side salad was a fresh contrast to the cheese and chicken in the yummy enchilada. Def check it out to get your fix of Mexican food far away from Mexico ☺️

We walked in this place while wondering around town. The waiters were welcoming and helpful and the food was amazing! I got the chimichangas and the jalapeño poppers and they were both delicious. Others in the group got a few different things and were really happy too. Bill worked out to be around €15-18 euro per person which is great for starters, main and a drink. Recommended.
