Probably the best Mexican taqueria restaurant in the vicinity, everything is freshly made, tastes good and is reasonably priced. The service is okay, and usually too busy to be very personable, but I don’t mind, they always get the order right and the busy environment is reason that the food is so fresh!
I do like the fact that they have an open kitchen so you can see what’s going on back there, and I also have enjoyed all the food that I’ve been served.

Take out order was crammed into bag so much so that everything was leaking. The pictures on the menu are not indicative of the portions. We ordered food for 6 ppl based on pics. Disappointing .Definitely not the same as when they were near Regis.

I have lived in Denver since the late 80’s. I’ve had a lot of tacos from a lot of places. Tacos Veloz is hands down the best tacos I’ve ever had. Every time. They also make their own corn tortillas on site. If you are there at the right time you can watch them press and cook the corn tortillas by hand. I couldn’t recommend this place enough.

So dang good! Great service too. Got an order of pazole, carnitas tacos, and al pastor tacos and everything was so delicious that I couldn’t stop eating even after I was stuffed. Definitely recommend the pazole, especially in cold weather. It’s a very generous amount and they don’t skimp on the meat. Take advantage of the salsa bar too cause all their salsas pack a lot of flavor and taste fresh/homemade

I kinda don’t want other people to find out about this gem, it’s beyond amazing. Fresh made salsa at your take. And the burrito is filled with flavorful carnitas &beans and cheese.
Atmosphere is warmth and authentic. Honestly do yourself a favor, come here for dinner or late night snack.

This place is great! As someone who lived in San Diego for a while, I know tacos. This place has great tacos, and I have zero doubts that everything on their menu is prolly great! You can tell it’s fresh quality ingredients, even at 11:15pm. I only had the Al Pastor tacos, but that’s my baseline on tacos. They have a great salsa bar, with all the fixings.

Loved the salsa bar – the chunky avocado was my favorite. I ordered the shrimp tacos which were pretty good although the way the meat was chopped up I was sometimes suspicious it was chicken…I’ll never know!
Chicken burrito was good, shredded, topped with sour cream. The Alambre are basically a plate with chopped meat of your choice and tortillas.
Nothing came with rice or beans and chips have to be ordered separately.

Tacos were amazing made with fresh tortillas of course. The torta was perfect. The bread was soft and the carne asada so flavorful. Loved the salsa bar too. Service friendly and fast. Overall great food!!
