LOVE IT!!!! WHAT AN AMAZING SPOT!!! THE CUSTOMER SERVICE IS OUTSTANDING!!!! THE FOOD IS DELICIOUS!!!! I WENT ALONE FOR MY FIRST VISIT AND FELT COMPLETELY WELCOMED. THE SERVER EVEN BROUGHT OUT A FEW DIFFERENT DISHES FOR ME TO SAMPLE SO I COULD CHOOSE MY FAVORITE. I’VE NEVER BEEN TO A RESTAURANT THAT PUT SO MUCH CARE INTO MAKING SURE I WAS HAPPY!!!! TRULY AN INCREDIBLE PLACE!!!!!

Drove by this place often enough to see some vehicles in the parking lot, so I figured to give it a try. Big mistake. The restaurant was so empty and quiet that you could hear one another breathe. Should’ve been my sign to leave. Gave the benefit of the doubt and decided to place the order. Arrived home and my food was absolutely bland. No sight of any seasoning. My toddler niece eats meat this unseasoned. They use el milagro tortillas, they can’t even make their own? Safe to say I won’t be retuning, but at least I gave it a try!

Taco Real used to have some of the best tostada suiza’s around. Unfortunately, that does not reign true for them any longer. There was barely any meat/toppings on mine. They burnt all the cheese, sides, & edges. The best thing about my vist was the waitress. She had such a loving demeanor about herself. She kept a smile on her face the entire time even though she had several tables.

Haven’t been in 10+ years, glad we made the trip today! Love the authentic food and the vintage style – hasn’t changed! The nachitos were delicious! Chips, warm salsa and pico all great! I stick with chicken usually but give the pork a try, the chicken is flavorless and dry – get the pork, it’s the best! Family loved the steak burrito and steak and chicken fajitas. We will definitely be back soon!

Food has never disappointed – good flavor, great portions and nicely presented. Service is pretty good even on busy nights.

The food is horrible. Ordered a burrito and it was just 2 big taco shells not even rolled. Definitely not a burrito. The salsa is just tomato soup and no taste. Was about to ask for a grilled cheese to dip in it. The prices are outrageous and the staff is not very attentive. The only nice thing is the atmosphere. Avoid this place

I used to live near here 30 years ago, and there is a very good reason this place is still open after 50 years, authentic Mexican food! The queso fundidio con chorizo is awesome!

This place is not it for chicken tacos. The chicken taste as if it was boiled in water with a little salt. There was no garlic, onion, or cumin taste; it was like eating hospital food.. They didn’t even take the time to put the corn tortilla on the grill. The “salsa” was just a red tomato sauce, no cilantro, no onions, just tomato sauce. The only thing that was good was the rice, and the beans were okay.
