Good food and excellent service. I’ve been here for lunch dozens of times but this was my first time during dinner hours. The service is very consistent and always fast. Gabby was friendly, knowledgeable and fast! The food is always delicious.

Really surprisingly awesome, fresh, delicious Mexican food. We usually go to El Azteca but we popped in here after a trip to the beach and oh MAN, the BRISKET! Brisket tacos, enchiladas, whatever you have to try it. Absolutely incredible and already craving it again a few days later. Trust me on this brisket.

I live in NC and will drive 2 hours to eat at this establishment. SUPER delicious food. Menu is amazing and everything we had was absolutely delicious. The brisket poppers are a must have. Bbq nachos are amazing as well.

Went for lunch. Place was chill and low-key. Not too many people. The food was phenomenal. Had a quesadilla. It wasn’t too big but came with a full plate of sides. The skinny margarita was probably the best margarita I’ve ever had. The waitress was super friendly and the service was fast. Looking forward to my next visit.

El Taco Loco is one of the best places for Mexican food in Virginia Beach, Friday nights are super busy and the back room is on the loud side. But I had the craving and they more than satisfied!

The two times I went there, the margaritas were terrible. I was only able to drink half (an unusual sight) and all it tasted was like bottom shelf liquor I had to put multiple limes in to taste anything besides the alcohol and got super sick after. The lady was not friendly at all, we felt rushed and she even brought the bill before asked for it. Then it’s normal to wait to get the signed bill after the customer leaves but she flew in and got it right away. The food was alright. My friends quesadilla was tiny. My shrimp tacos were pretty good. I gave this place another try cause it had the Groupon but I’m not going back there anymore.

I went for the first time. If you’ve never been, please note that the restaurant doors are facing the Sam’s Club. I ordered the lunch shrimp fajita quesadilla. I asked for extra cilantro on it, and was told it doesn’t come with cilantro. I had to pay an extra $1 for cilantro, which is fine, but I want to let it be known that if you’re expecting cilantro on it, that it doesn’t come with it. The food was just okay. I’ve had better. Location was nice enough. Service was quick and friendly.

The waitstaff was really friendly and the salsa they provide was good, but those are the only 2 positives. The jalapeño poppers sounded amazing, it was supposed to have brisket, but I’m not sure what meat was in it but it wasn’t brisket. It tasted really off and kind of like canned mystery meat? The burrito was a brisket burrito and the cheese on top was good but the meat inside was not. The menu says the brisket is smoked for 24 hours but it appeared to be deli roast beef that was sliced up. The waiter was nice and took the jalapeño poppers off the check but unfortunately my husband and I will still not be returning. We ended up leaving most of the burrito, my husband left part of his plate and the poppers.we both felt really nauseous leaving. Hoping we do not get sick later on.

Service is always on point at this restaurant. Everything in here is super delicious. My favorite dish is the 24 hour beef brisket tacos with the caramelized onions. They are to die for!!! They are a must-try for anyone that wants their palette to dance.
