Favorite breakfast tacos and hot sauce by far! We enjoy the tacos many sunday mornings before church but we decided to stop in for dinner last week and we were blown away by the service and food again! The Enchiladas were so yummy, we ate them quickly and cleaned the plates! We even went back this weekend for dinner again. The teens were very happy with their food too. One even said “this is really good” and that says a lot because he never makes compliments about his food. Will definitely be back again, probably very soon. Hidden gem in Temple! I ordered a barbacoa torta and it was pretty delicious. Their horchata was fantastic, not too sweet and not grainy. It was a wonderful experience coming here. I would definitely recommend eating here at least once.

Great spot for Mexican food. The chimichanga was solid, and the rice and beans were both excellent. The red and green sauces were also really good and added a lot of flavor. Would definitely come back.

El Sombrero Tapatio is a typical, small Mexican restaurant with traditional dishes, plus some surprising ones. My husband had mentioned, while I tried a new dish called Queso Flameado. If you follow me, you know I love cheese, and this was literally a skillet of melted cheese with a choice of meat and Pico de Gallo. It was delicious. If you want to treat yourself, give it a try.

Had the eggs rancho, the food was made the way I like it, crispy potatoes, the beans were fine, the eggs, and salsa was a good combo, not too spicy. The coffee had a nice flavor. The only downside is that the tortillas were store bought.

Very good friendly service… Food was delicious, and hot!!! Only issue I had was that chicken had no seasoning.. But food was fresh…no doubt about that.. And unfortunately no beer at this time.. That was very disappointing.. Maybe next time… Butttt YES there will be a next time!!!
